Well that's a cool feature if addons can actually do something like that.
Just all the more reason a feature like that needs to be added to the base game, though. Because not everyone has access to or uses addons.
Does this addon let you control the entry point going into the linked home as well? It would also be nice if you could disguise the portal as a door. That way you could make it appear as if you were just entering another room instead of traveling to a new home.

You can not change where in a house you enter unfortunately. Still cool, but the portals are just a shortcut to other means of traveling to someone's home. That said you always enter the front door.

You actually can place an EHT portal anywhere, scale it to any size, dye it any color. I have seen them made into giant gateways, shrunk into wall mirrors, hidden underground and, perhaps my favorite, floating in someone’s toilet.
You can’t control where the portal brings you inside of the destination home (it’s always the entrance) but there are portals that instantly return you to the current home’s entrance (without the animation) that I have used as a shortcut back to the start of a maze.
