Anti social daily quests

Can we just skip with the "we can do x amount of daily quests per day if we share with each other" and just allow us to grab them all ourselves.
No one shares, the whole daily quest thing is anti social, and ZOS trolled us with the murkmire prepper 150 dailies! that we can do all 6 in a day ourselves.
Why can't we just do other dailies the same.

This works for Bolgrul daily undaunted delve quests and most of the dlc dailies who are the dailies people do.
Some can not be shared like daily group dungeon.
Assume daily crafting quest can not be shared or people would exploited this hard during anniversary event. Someone try to share them
You are limited to unique quests like its only two world bosses in CWC so only two quests for bosses.
Cyrodil town quests is an exception in that npc give you multiple quest in a row, they can still be shared.
Same with the Cyrodil PvP quests but not sure if they are dailies.
Not sure if this is much of an problem, you can always use alts.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

My guildies and I grouped for the Murkmire dailies. And the Elsweyr dailies as well when they came out.

Murkmire is the worse because there is one world boss daily that you need at least 3 dds to do and one entire daily that is locked behind doing the entire main quest which from my experience it seems very few people have done.
You can't use alts for those.
I have literally been in front of the quest giver in multiple locations asking for a quest to be shard, whispering people too and they just grab their quest and sod off.
It's an MMO ffs.
Who can't Root whisper dailys be done all together by our character. These aren't even delves but basically easier versions than the crappy prologue quests.0 -

Scion_of_Yggdrasil✭✭✭✭✭I mention in zone chat that I am sharing dailies (when I need help, or to share right before I turn in) and I see plenty of others in zone chat doing the same. I've never really had an issue getting shares unless the zone is dead and its the witching hour...3

They are, but they are a little different. Most of them can be repeated as long as there are valid enrmy targets. The kill 20 of X class/players can be picked up one after the other until you complete all 7 once per day. The mission board, kill 40 players, capture 9 resources ect. can only be done once a day like the DLC zone and guild dailies.Cyrodil town quests is an exception in that npc give you multiple quest in a row, they can still be shared.

I'm not sure where you play, but on PC NA having a quest to share was a failproof way to get 5+ people to help you kill the WB during the recent event (10-20+ if you wait some), and it still kiiiinda works even after it. It means that people have incentive to help because they can also get credit for the other person's quest (assuming they hadn't done it yet). Spamming zchat with 'looking for X Y Z daily' may not be overly effective but if you just sit there for a few mins, someone will inevitably start a WB group and share their quest (or at least they definitely did during the event. Greymoor is less active now, but that's hardly surprising. Still, can get 2-3 WB without an issue if you hang around just a bit). The idea isn't to give you easy 6 WB, the idea is to encourage people to group and help out, and it's working just fine there.1 -

Then run with them for anything that requires a persistent group effort (e.g., sharing dailies).
Expecting John J. Rando to fulfill your gaming desires on a daily basis is not ever going to be a rewarding pursuit.
Make friends and play with those friends. It can be done.

You're right, @Grizzbeorn, but the OP is in an interesting predicament where they may (or may not) want to share the world boss quests themself after they've checked off their achievements.
They already said they're not interested in the rewards ... so that may offer insight as to the path they're taking after.

The in game achievement is all I care about. I will buy the remaining motifs but i am very helpful. If I was ever in a zone and someone wanted a share I share. I help with WBs even for no quest if I am not preoccupied. I don't expect others to be so altruistic but if they are doing dailies they are doing it for a reason and sharing is more benefit for them.0 -

General_Zeranth✭✭✭✭Honestly the big part of why I don't share daily quests anymore is cause of the hassle of grouping to share. It'd be nice if there was an option to link the quest in text chat and folks could just open it and obtain the quest that way sort of like how guild invites work now where you click on it to get more info.
And the big part of why I don't like to quest with "friends" is that when I make said friends they only want me to help them and never reciprocate then a week or so later after I'm sick of being used I block them and try again to no avail. Its really hard to make genuine friends on this game that actually want to help and be helped.

Yeah man, sure, I have a small handful of friends in this game, but even they come and go with ESO, and NONE of them would be willing to farm daily quests of all things, let alone six. Not all of us are fresh out of highschool with 25 buddies who all play the same game (examples like cod, destiny, other mmos, etc). Sad truth is many ESO players grew up and outgrew that seemingly endless network of friends. Yes ESO is an mmo, but for the love of the divines stop assuming people have loads of friends to call upon to help you farm mundane daily quests or to do trifecta achievements or battlegrounds.4 -

✭I'm currently having this problem running Ashland Dailies in Vvardenfell. I need to complete 7 Relic quests to get an an achievement so I can buy an item from Achievement furnishing Vendor. I ask people the past few nights in zone chat to share for 30 mins to an hour but the zone is so dead I guess bc the DLC is so old. I feel annoying spamming for shares so I gave up after a while and have just been obsessing over this achievement for days making sure not to forget to run those dailies, Which reminds me...

3: Group up
4: Go to quest in log
5: Press share
6: Thanks
7: Leave group

I like the current design of having one quest / day "solo" but being able to share further quests from other players.
It gives a feeling of "people currently in the same zone get organized to get stuff done together".
I don't understand people complaining that other players don't give a damn about sharing. They do. I always find someone to group up (if only to share the quests) and I always do if someone asks in zone chat.
Now you always have people who don't care about anything but their own stuff, people who don't ask nicely, etc...
You also have the typical :
- pls share quests
- just shared
- didn't get anything, pls try again
- just shared again
- didn't get anything
- you probably already have one in your journal or have already done that one today
- what ? can't remember...
that is utterly annoying.
But that's .. just people.
The main nice thing about MMOs is... other people
The worst thing about MMOs is... other people.
I think this design is a good compromise between playing solo (which I frankly prefer for this kind of quests) and still have some sort of interaction with other players in the same zone, still with no need to gather "friends" to do it.

Emphasis mine. Even if the one daily you mentioned was shared, I doubt you would be able to turn it in because the NPC wouldn't be there.
In my experience random people will share WB and some world event dailies (dolmens in Alikr all the time, dragons and geysers during events mostly, but I don't remember seeing people sharing harrowstorms), but seldom share the other dailies. For those you'd be better off forming a group beforehand.
