How about Lyranth from the Coldharbour main storyline and from Shadowfen and ICP?
She has that passive aggressive attitude and treats the player character with disdain despite sharing mutual goals, but is rather restrained for one of her kind.

I need merchants for my outdoor bazaar and I have crowns from ESO+ but I don't want to just purchase people/cats/lizards so they will on occasion hang out with me.
Im not against this, there is a few characters I would like to have. I see why zos might not want to have characters that appear in story quest incase they want to reuse them in the future. Doesnt make much sense for raz to be uncovering another deadric plot if he has spent the last year in my house after getting kicked out of the palace in alinor by the proxy queen for sitting on the throne one to many times. Or does it make more sense? O.o0 -

Does it matter? People who died irrevocably have come back to life so I hardly think it's a concern.
It would probably encourage more sales as there might be more of an already-existing emotional connection to the character.
Even baddies could be carefully positioned into a jail of your making.
What I fail to understand was why they didn't sweeten the deal and encourage sales to people who aren't interested in decorations by giving House Guests a function outside of just walking around. Like collecting your surveys, maybe?
Also they missed a tie-in to Skyrim by not introducing adopt-an-orphan quests. I think you could have one per home in Skyrim (but coudln't put them in a basement to make shoes though).Edited by Dusk_Coven on October 14, 2020 12:04AM1 -

That would be a great idea, I would be ready to pay 5k Crowns for someone who could help me with the surveys
