long loading screens

Since the Stonethorn update I have been getting really long loading screens when changing zones but it is most notable when logging in a character. I now need to go and make a coffee when I hit play, but even then it sometimes is still loading in.

is this something changed or do i need to update?

Having to abandon a whole guild event because we are seeing 5 minute loading screens at this point. It was slow all day, now it's beyond a joke.

After today's maintenance I have extremally long loading screens. Changing zone via wayshrine/port to player, entering delve takes minutes (usually at prime time PC EU no more than 20-30 sec). I'm atm collecting missing skyshards during que to Cyro, very afraid what I'll meet there...

free ESO+ trial, performance usually is down then. Time to do crafting writs and surveys only.

It's more amazing at this point when I don't get a long loading screen.

I hope the load screens are comparatively short on the PS5.

Same here. Loading screens are getting beyond ridiculous. I run fiber, SSD, RTX 2080, i9 9900k at 4.7 on all 8 cores (I can easily hit 5 but I prefer stability vs raw performance) and I still get insanely long loading screens.

I never understood why in WOW when I log in, it take no time at all. Their continents are all one BIG map, the only instancing is dungeons/raids. I get that they use a lower poly look for the game, but still their performance absolutely dominates ESO. I like ESO, but if WOW ever came out with player housing (the only real reason I play ESO), I'd go back in a heartbeat.

    Veteran Long loading screens

    There.

    Fixed it for ya
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
