Lag/players teleporting in trials

Last night the lag was so bad in trials that I was forced to get a replacement. What is going on with the servers lately? And no it was not my internet. I even rebooted my modem and router, did a speed test and everything was running just fine except the game. Not to mention the stutters in game are getting worse.
