Just read an article about games that are not going to be backwards compatible on PS5, see https://engadget.com/sony-ps5-backwards-compatibility-161928579.html

As Elder Scrolls Online isn't listed on that list, that would mean it will be playable on PS5. Good news right?

Yes, ZOS has already confirmed that ESO ps4 will be compatible on the ps5. They also said we'll be (eventually) getting a ps5 native version upgrad for free.

Cool. I must have missed that. Just hope I'll be able to get a PS5 order in soon as I think that my PS4 Pro might be about to go down seeing how the fan is going into overdrive more and more (even after cleaning). Would hate to have to buy a new PS4 Pro when I could also replace it immediately with the PS5.

Yep and with PS5 Boost mode (also Series X) the game should also run at a steady 30fps and never drop since they are so powerful. It should also load VERY fast. When the next gen patch comes I will expect 4k/max settings at 60fps. Exciting stuff.
