Necrotic Orb broken?

Does someone else experience the following? Since the patch with the 12 man group the following occurs:
Necrotic orb and morphs start flying as normal but groupmembers cannot use the synergie. It says you can press the X and the animation goes however there is no damage/ healing and no resources returned.
