Antiquarian’s Alpine Gallery (Furniture capacity) increase ESO+

ModdysMoZzA
increase the house capacity of (Special Collectibles///Special Furnishings///Traditional Furnishings) ESO+
Many of us were so excited about the new house. but the capacity of the furniture is a little bit low. especially for this house, because it is a large house I suggest increasing the capacity of:
1/Special Collectibles from 8 to 15 or 20
2/ Special Furnishings from 8 to 15 or 20
3/ Traditional Furnishings from 600 to 800

for ESO+ players

While I would love more furnishings capacity, ZOS needs to fix the FPS dip that goes along with it. Otherwise we are going to have houses with 5 fps.

As the house was a free gift to all players, I don't agree that any improvements to it should be restricted to subscribers only.

The house is relatively small in size compared to other notable homes offered. It’s definitely a Classic home currently misidentified as a Notable as the similar inventory spaces Eastmarch Lighthouse has the same 600 spaces.

Going back to the size, adding the possibility of more slots is likely to create instances where players overload the system memory of consoles at least and cause the game to either crash or consistently stop players from adding or moving objects within.

I agree they should raise it. At least to the limits of other notable homes.

Yeah, we already get a higher housing limit as subscribers. Non-subscribers contributed to the community effort too (or at least bought the chapter), it wouldn’t be fair to leave them out.

One of my biggest beefs is why they have categories for furnishing types. A cap of 10 for pets, mounts, etc is too small. Why not just combine all the furnishing slots. Not everyone wants to put trophies in their homes so it would be nice to use these slots for furnishings. And what about the cat ladies who would like to place 20 cats in their house

Considering how many special collectibles you can get (one from every dungeon) they should let you place at least that many in the largest of homes.

I think that 800 is an overkill since there were supposed to be some technical difficulties with that. But raising it to 700 for subs and 350 for non subs is ok in my book.

Isn't cap for notable homes 700 WITH eso+? And you want it to be 800...and it's a CLASSIC home? It was incorrectly listed under notables but if you look at it's description the gallery is a Classic home.

A fps drop is a local issue. As long as it only affects other players when they also visit the house, that's our problem, isn't it?
Should ZOS also limit graphics settings to what runs with a guaranteed 60+ FPS on a minimum spec PC?

Interactive objects are a different thing, they may be a cause of server lag when players can pack too many of them in their house, but static furniture and simple non-interactive animations should make no difference once the house is loaded.

Still laughing. ZOS gives you a free home. Puts numerous display tables in it for the purpose of displaying items. I could not even put half of my gallery collection of undaunted statutes. wall plaques or ESO plus free monthly statutes before I was told I reached my limit. Had a lot of display tables left over with nothing on them. But heck sure am not going to run out of tables.

more special collectible items are added from time to time, for example, the house guests NPC, the solitude Guard to. when adding such items over and over, the capacity of these items in all houses should increase whenever a new item is added.

really one of the best houses ever made, especially the lake and waterfall. but sadly not enough room for furniture especially the (special collectible) items. they must reconsider increasing it for all players

Being this is an antiquities house it would be nice to have more collectibles slots, even if at the price of trading for regular item slots. But, this is what ZOS decided to offer, that is what we get and it probably will never change.

I agree with this. The house was given to everyone who owns Greymoor, not just ESO subscribers and ESO+ already has a higher item limit. If the limits for the house are increased it should be for everyone who owns it, not just for subscribers.

@ModdysMoZzA the house is relatively medium sized compared to notable homes (It has been confirmed it was misidentified as a notable and will be relabeled as a classic home next update). A comparable sized home that is also Classic is the Mathisen Manor located in Auridon. The notable homes are far far larger as is their building area. Yes, I own several notables in addition to the Antiquarian home.

@Toanis mimimum specs are currently bound by the two console specs. All updates to PC general play need to be able to perform on console. That said a number of things including current patch stability, item types, animations, etc affect how well homes appear and perform on either console. Too many items in too small a space, regardless of animations, can crash a system. An example of such would be putting 500 different lights at the entrance to a notable home. Usually the lights would be processed and load in depending on an avatar’s distance from the furnishing. But putting so many things to be rendered at an entrance really easy away at processing power and can result in a crash/freeze. While other players are returned to their previous locations, your avatar will continue to try and reload in that home, crashing each time and needing ZOS intervention to get out. It’s not ideal.

That sounds like it's a problem on your end, not a problem with the house.
