    New Life Festival
    The New Life Festival returns for testing! This year, however, we have some special treats for you…
    • First, we’re introducing the long-requested Imperial New Life Quest, celebrating the Imperial tradition of the Old Life Remembrance.
    • As always, the first New Life quest you complete each day will award you Event Tickets (3, this year), and any completed New Life quests will award you a New Life Festival Box.
      • This box contains an assortment of valuable and flavorful items, along with a chance for motif pages, style pages, furnishings, or special charity writs.
      • The charity writs from years prior to 2019 are now sunset; if you have those writs, you can still complete them, they just won’t drop anymore. However, this year there are several new Imperial Charity Writs which, along with the Deep Winter Charity Writs that still drop, all count toward prior achievements involving these writs.
    • Completing an Imperial Charity Writ will reward you a random page from this year’s wintry weapon selection, the Rkindaleft Dwemer style.
    • Lastly, the Impresario has brought back ALL of 2020’s Indriks berries and feathers for your pursuit, and will sell Rkindaleft Dwemer weapon style pages for 5 tickets each.

    • Fixed an issue where the Lead for the Silver Strand of Syrabane, part of the Pearls of Ehlnofey, could be found all over the world. It can now only be found in The Reach, as intended.

    Vateshran Hollows Arena
    • General
      • Essences and their Remnants will no longer persist after leaving Vateshran Hollows.
      • You are no longer awarded points when entering the Choosing in a saved instance.
      • Void energy will no longer persist when in saved instances.
      • You will no longer have a chance to be teleported underground when entering the Choosing.
    • Brimstone Den
      • Flaming Skeletons no longer leave a corpse upon their death.
    • Hunter’s Grotto
      • Lurchers are now immune to Oblivion damage when they are also immune to other damage.

      • Maebroogha will no longer speak over the Rites Matron.
      • Updated the sound effects for the final boss.

    • Reduced the intensity of the glare from the sun in Shalidor’s Shrouded Realm.
    • The map for Shalidor’s Shrouded Realm no longer includes a map pin for its own entrance.
    • Sealed holes in the bottom of several structures in Shalidor’s Shrouded Realm, and corrected several similar visual issues.
    • Looking down at Markarth from Stone Eagle Aerie is now less likely to show flickering in the streets of the city.
    • Made a number of small adjustments to the furnished and unfurnished templates in Stone Eagle Aerie to correct visual issues.
    • Fixed an issue where the collections menu image for Stone Eagle Aerie would appear distorted when viewed in the gamepad version of the UI.

    • Item sets and passives that generate Ultimate now require you to be in combat to activate, to help reduce their ability to continuously enter a fight at full Ultimate.
      • Note: Pearls of Ehlnofey may still proc outside of combat in some cases and will be fixed in a future patch.
    • Fixed an issue where some Elemental Status Effects could fail to apply their auxiliary effects or activate their special interactions with the Destruction Staff skill line.
    • Fixed an issue where the Charged Lightning and Bone Wall synergies did not remove their synergies from others when activated.
    • Fixed an issue where activating the Blessed Shards synergy could remove other active abilities, such as Volley, when synergized.
    • Fixed an issue where your block animation could become desynced when using Shield Wall.
      • Note that there is a known issue where it can still desync your Stamina bar after activating.
    • Fixed numerous issues with Heavy Attacks sometimes missing targets while strafing and weaving.
    • Pets can no longer be commanded to attack innocent NPCs if the "Prevent Attacking Innocents" game setting is on.

    Warden
    • Winter’s Embrace
      • Frost Cloak: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs would fail to apply its visual effects upon cast.

    Weapon
    • One Hand and Shield
      • Shield Wall: Fixed an issue where activating this Ultimate or its morphs while wearing item sets such as Frozen Watcher could trigger their effects permanently.
    • Destruction Staff
      • Ancient Knowledge: Fixed an issue where the Block Mitigation granted from this passive could fail to apply against certain attacks while equipping a Frost Staff.
      • Wall of Frost: Fixed an issue where the Damage Shield from this ability and its morphs could target non-player characters.

    • Fixed an issue where the Raiding Target Dummy did not have Minor Brittle or Major Vulnerability applied to it.
    • Updated the tooltips for Hircine’s Veneer and Worm’s Ramient to match their actual bonuses.
    • Fixed an issue where Minor Magickasteal would fail to reapply on the dummy after it was killed.
    • Adjusted the visual effects from numerous new item sets to only be visible by the proper targets who need to see them, to help reduce the visual noise they impact on overall combat.
      • This means sets such as Wrath of Elements are now only visible to the wearer of the set and enemies, rather than all players, while Force Overflow is visible to the wearer and their allies, rather than all players.
    • Adjusted the visuals from the following item sets:
      • Frenzied Momentum: This activated effect now looks more physical in nature, rather than appearing as Fire damage.
      • Void Bash: The radius on the debuff explosion visuals now matches its proper radius.

    Crafted Sets
    • Oblivion’s Foe: Readjusted this set’s minor set bonuses to now grant the following bonuses at their standard levels, rather than granting up to 211 of each Resource Recovery:
      • 2 piece: 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
      • 3 piece: 1487 Offensive Penetration
      • 4 piece: 657 Critical Chance
      • 5 piece: 129 Weapon and Spell Damage.

    PvP Sourced Sets
    • Crest of Cyrodiil: Fixed an issue that prevented these set items from dropping as bows or staves from several sources.
    • Ravager: Fixed an issue where this set did not work with the new hard coded Major and Minor Breach.

    Mythic Items
    • Ring of the Pale Order: This set now has a maximum heal of 3750 before bonuses, to help reduce its healing potential in PvE.
      Developer Comment:
      As we've seen a lot of discussion on this set, we’ve decided to put a maximum heal threshold on the set to help reduce the swingy-ness between PvE and PvP. We went with a value that was relatively hard to hit in PvP (you'll have to hit for 25k+ in a single attack to see this cap) but relatively easy in PvE. This should help lower the staggering HPS by 25-35% on most builds, although we will keep a close eye on the set. We're aware of the concerns that it has in terms of total healing output and how it impacts the relevancy of healers/supports in end game, and will be monitoring data on the item to see impact. Moving forward, we will likely adjust the Healing % and Max Cap from here on out, if any further adjustments are made.

    Ability Altering Weapons
    Developer Comment:
    We are aware of much of the feedback for the new Arena Weapons for this update, and are still in the process of making adjustments where necessary.
    • Wrath of Elements: Fixed an issue where this item set’s tooltip was not scaling with damage bonuses.
    • Frenzied Momentum:
      • Decreased the damage on the Heavy Attack explosion to 9132, down from 10384.
      • While generating stacks, you now gain 38 Weapon Damage per stack, which is lost after the proc the explosion.
      • Increased the duration of the stacks and the window your fully charged stacks last to 20 seconds each, up from 10 seconds each. This should help grant the set less binary performance, where you were immediately punished for not constantly spamming Stamina abilities and activating a Heavy Attack every 5-6 seconds.
