Why would I want random NPC #3 to pace back and fourth in my home over Razum-Dar, Sheogorath, The Prophet, Naryu Virian or any number of other characters you meet across Tamriel? It could even be tied to achievements, like clear a zone, unlock a houseguest that was prominent in that zone.

But you are getting some secondary hero characters anyway so while i wouldnt expect vivec to drop by anytime soon we are getting both.

The character you play is the savior of pretty much every zone you walk through, with very few exceptions. You are telling me it would break immersion for notable characters to show up in the home of the hero of the entire planet? To me it makes far more sense for Razum-Dar to show up at your door than a random barmaid or a pilgrim you've never met that just wants to meditate.

But you are right people do RP so a mix of both notable and random NPC's would serve both concepts. Though I still say it wouldn't break immersion to have someone you saved, or someone who helped you save a region, to be around you. You made friends with werewolves, vampires and vampire hunters along the way, all perfect candidates to visit the Bastion Sanguinaris.

I honestly just want a bit more diversity with currently known (aka upcoming) houseguests. Especially because there isn't a single Argonian houseguest at the moment, from what I've seen. So I'm really hoping for at least two, maybe three Argonian houseguests in the future.

The crown store datamine had Jorunn’s son as one. I think they’ll eventually work in more known characters.

I'd love to have some even more generic npc houseguests. Like guards, servants, mage's guild members, soldiers etc I can place multiple of. Preferably with different race and look options, especially the guards.

That's wrong. None of my characters has saved most of the zones him/herself, even my main one. Each one has a dedicated story and dedicated zones.

Even most of people who would do that, they retcon it for themselves when they RP.

lol it isn't head canon or fan fiction or some sort of superman RP, most, if not every, zone has a major evil threat that needs to be dealt with and the player deals with it, most of the time ending with a group of people calling your character the hero and saying something to the effect of "everything would have been lost without you." If you are trying to say the player character isn't the hero of most of the zones in the game you just flat out aren't paying attention to the zone stories.
