I don't know guys, I'm really sorry that you haven't been able to improve your pvp performance in any way.
I don't know in pve but in pvp (PC EU) is a disaster rn : Lag, crashes , skills not firing ect .
also these tests are a complete failure, in all the tests except for the first one (since you made it to coincide with the event in ic eheh )we had lag and crashes .
If none of your solutions have solved the issues most likely it is an hardware problem, what do you think?
instead of changing the game ( by slowing it down ) try change the server!

anyway, I know you can't , because its more important pve , pvp doesn't give you any profit, right?

The performance updates changed it all to worse IMO. Until last year we had desynced corpses and HP bars. Now.. We have all you mention :confounded:
    PC/DC/NAserver

    V16 sorc - V16 temp - V16 dk - V1 nb - V1 temp - V1 dk

Harrowstorm was truly the nail in the coffin, performance prior was actually amazing in comparison. Not amazing, but amazing in comparison...

I hope stadia has made them a pile of money and it was worth pushing everything server side to make it happen! The performance since has been unacceptable and the communication regarding it even more so. I have never heard them acknowledge it as a new issue and instead talk about performance passively.

I would like to believe if wow or ffXIV had released a patch that determent to performance, they would have reverted it.

The most shocking thing perhaps was that they sold this as a performance improvement by saying they were removing spaghetti code from the client. We weren't to know they were just moving spaghetti code to the server so stadia had faster access to it.

It IS a hardware problem. They do not want to move their game to more powerful servers and try to improve performance through tweaks that will reduce server load. But not only it's not working. It actually made the game perform even worse.

The game has been a dumpster fire since the patch on February 5th.

Performance during dragonhold was disgusting, blue screenned more during that update than the rest of the 5 years i've played this game
It is much better right now no crash for the last month

That was the block change patch I'm guessing? Since I started playing it's just been a steady decline into a raging dumpster fire, but that was one specific event I most clearly remember being a sort of jump-point where everything just went straight to hell.

The worst change was shifting positioning to the server.
This has led to the game feel extremely unreliable and clunky because you can't rely on what you see on your screen.
"Out of range" and missing AoEs on people who are right in front of you, getting hit by AoEs when you're not standing in them.
Getting uncloaked by direct damage skills when you're invisible on your screen.
Getting hit by multiple skills mid dodge roll that you should have dodged.

And all that to have 5 FPS more.
But no one asked for 5 FPS more when the amount of skills we can cast went down to 10 skills per minute as all others fail to connect due to the positioning changes

Idk bout you guys but I'm loving the streak desyncs 🤣🤣 the ones where you see the sorc use streak and see them stand still for another second or two, and then they suddenly get dragged through the air by invisible force towards their destination.

    Really gets me going 🤣

Oh and the stuns from abilities that you never see occur until you die or suddenly get smacked for 20k damage by nobody standing near you. That's the best part. 🤣

Also, what did you think was going to happen with the calculation strain on the server that proc sets create, since everyone and their mother uses them? Real smart move.

At this point I feel like rewriting the entire code is your best bet, ZOS.

I have at least two or three crashes a day, sometimes with the error report option sometimes the game just completely shuts down. So, much much worst then before, since I never head those.
