I've done quite a bit of reading on this via Google but found no real answers to why it happens so frequently to some characters and what, if anything, can be done about it, or if ZOS is planning on doing anything about it. I especially encounter it on my templar several times every delve or dungeon. Pretty annoying. Any insights? Thanks

    Character gets stuck in the combat position - hot key to sheathe weapon doesn't work - can't loot or open containers until I reload UI, which often takes several minutes

    Yes. I have trouble with my templar characters too. Try bar swap.

    That's probably the one thing I haven't tried - I'll try that next time and post if it works

    @phairdon I got stuck in combat mode again - and swapping weapons snapped her out of it - much easier than reloadui - thanks for the tip!

    Yeah, I've had this happen a few times within the last month. Toggling bar-swap fixes it.
    And the last time it happened to me was prior to the Skyrim event.
