Daily Tasks to Complete

Each day I try to complete a series of tasks before moving onto various other activities like trials, dungeons, delve and world boss dailies, chest farming, arenas, etc. My list is posted below. Is there anything else other players try to accomplish each day as part of a login routine?
  • Research - I make sure that all crafting stations are actively researching. If there is an open research spot, then I obtain an un-researched trait from either my bank or TTC and get it started
  • Research Scrolls - I keep a supply of research speed scrolls in the bank and use one each day for each type of research
  • Visit the stable
  • Daily crafting writs
  • Complete any leads or treasure maps gotten from the writs or the day before
  • Collect S Elsweyr Dragon Chest
  • Complete at least one daily in West Skyrim for event tickets - spend if 10 or more in inventory
  • Queue and complete the daily Random Battleground & Random Dungeon

What else do you do routinely do everyday?

Writs on one and a half characters.
Hand in a Western Skyrim quest I pre-did during a guild event.
Make sure my guild store slots are filled.
    Have fun.

There are only three daily tasks I ever contemplate.

Feed horses if one needs fed. I have 17/18 maxed out, not going to lie, #18 has been neglected. Doubt I ever get around to playing my third necromancer.

Research, well I have a master crafter. Decided the others weren't worth the headache for an imperceptible increase in master writ drop rates. If you arent 9/9 on all items on at least one character, this is important.

Do Crafting writs. This is certainly the most important. That said, once your net worth is 9-10 figures, it becomes easy to not care so much. You could add two zeros to the end of my bank account, and nothing would change for me in this game. Being broke sucks, but once you have 20-30 mil in your bank, you realize that it is wildly overkill.

Whatever I feel like... lately it's been farming in Skyrim, but other days I may feel like doing my writs on 4-5 of my characters, go on a pickpocketing/murder spree in Vvardenfell, run aimlessly around Vvardenfell, join a pug trial in Craglorn, pledges with pugs or guildies, whatever.

I cannot imagine doing what you do every day, but if it's what you enjoy then more power to you (I am running low on mats because I've neglected my writs and I'm guessing you don't have that problem!).

Having a routine doesn't negate fun.

I do the daily quests that I don’t have the “complete 30 x dailies” achievement for. Been doing it for a while now, and am down to just 6 remaining. That Murkmire daily preper achievement is a *** though. 150 daily quests? Why is it so high!?

My daily routine mostly just consists of logging into my crafter, doing her writs, and going through the decon list at each table to clear out any junk gear my other characters left in our bank the night before. That's the only guaranteed daily activity.

Beyond that though, my playtime can be divided into 2 modes, during the work week and during the weekend. My job takes up 12-13 hours of my day, giving me an hour or 2 free both before and after work. During this time if I'm in game I'm usually multi-tasking it with real life, so I'll use that time to do things like surveys, master writs, or logging into additional characters to do writs on. I might squeeze in a delve daily or something like that too if I can. Anything that I can drop on the fly if I need to, this is basically my time dedicated to dailies.

During the weekend I just want to relax, so I'll do my crafter's daily writs and decon routine, then pick a character who's playstyle I'm in the mood for and try to be productive while having fun. They all have different content they excel at so I'll often hop between them based on what I feel like doing.

I always feed the horse of whoever I'm logged into. I used to make sure to do the writs for whoever I happened to be on too but that got tedious, now I only bother with it if I'm waiting on a queue.

Yup, with you on this. Been *** crafting writs on my various guys for a while now, and getting close to my "target" of gold in the bank. Once I get there, no more writs for me unless I dip down below this value due to Gold Vendors or exchanging gold for crowns.

I was stealing everyday on my main but I just got Black Market Mogul 2 days ago, so that's done.

I have one character that does at least Bolgrul's daily, even if I don't feel like pledges.

My vampblade does at least 1 marked for death contract unless I feel like a black sacrament.

All of my level 50 toons turn in crafting writs every day.

I would suggest letting surveys from crafting writs pile up before you go harvest them. Its more time efficient, as long as you can manage the inventory space required.

Zoning in and traveling to a survey location to only collect 1 surveys worth of materials seems like a waste of time. If you let the surveys stack up to 10 or 20 you can then harvest the materials, run a short distance away and come back and harvest more, repeated 20 times.

I have found that splitting surveys between two characters(with maxed crafting points) works best for me. My crafter holds enchanting and jewelery, and my farmer holds the rest. I tried putting them all on one but the sheer number of them prevented it. After doing writs i dump em in the bank and withdraw them with the two as the bank gets too full.

I feel like I saved a lot of time switching to this method, and it has the bonus of letting you be lazy and skip doing them until you feel like it.
