Should the ESO Zones/World be bigger?

I was having a discussion with someone on if the ESO world was bigger and the zones can feel a bit small at times compared to a lot of what we've seen in the Elder Scrolls. Not sure if it would be better if it were bigger or if this would be just more of a hassle but I thought I might see what people think. So do you think the ESO zones and world should be bigger? Would this improve the game or not?

I.... I'm not sure. I honestly don't find it a "small" world. But parts of it (certain zones) don't seem as large as they could be. Elsweyr for instance. I really wanted both zones to be much larger than they were. But I'm very much into Khajiit, so that makes sense for me. And I wanted Murkmire and Shadowfen to be half as big because - well, I just don't like Argonians or swamps like those (only swamp I like is Hjaalmarch.... though I don't mind Deshaan, but then Deshaan isn't really swampy).

This is one of those "personal feelings" things I guess.

Personally I feel like the best way to improve the zones would be to make them more detailed. I mean, if you even just look at Skyrim, it’s waaay more detailed than anything in ESO. But I wouldn’t exactly complain if they made zones bigger too.

it all has to do with performance and development time and cost as to why zones aren't bigger

Generally game maps should be just as large as necessary and not any larger. Specally in ESO, travel is already 2nd biggest time sink after inventory management (and loading screens depending of hamster health). I want to play the game instead!
If I'm in a mood to travel and explore endlessly, I can always launch Minecraft.

To add, yes, zones could be bigger if there also is more content to fill the void. Also give rapids back.

I think the world is already quite big and zones are huge. If they were bigger there'd be more performance issues.

im ok with zone size but id like to see them feel more full with more things to do and more reasons to revisit them as they age.

I feel like Cyrodiil is the only zone that is scaled correctly size wise.

Maybe it’s that we can move quicker in ESO with mount speeds etc but take the Skyrim zones for example, they certainly do feel smaller

    I know what OP means.
Many times I think "How can the NPC not know it?! It is just 1min(Tamriel time) from here."
But on the other hand. Do we really want to ride realistic hours from A to B. No.
