Yes my computer is optimised and up to date.
Yes my internet is fine.
No I have never had this issue before.
No I typed nothing in guild chat, zone chat, etc. I literally lasted 2 seconds before being removed for spam.

✭✭✭Check that a key is not stuck on your keyboard - this error message is poorly worded, it doesn't mean chat message or mail, it means "a message sent to the server." If a skill key is stuck on your keyboard it can be sending too many messages.

Kiyakotari✭✭✭✭✭This has been happening to me recently, as well. Specifically, it happens when I do a /reloadui. When I looked into it, the information that I found all pointed toward this being an issue with lag. Apparently, it's caused by "messages" to the server getting backed up, then suddenly all sending at once. The server interprets the sudden flood of messages as spam, and kicks the user. ("Messages" refers to any data sent to the server, not to chat.)

Nephthys✭✭✭It is a glitch and has been happening for a long time. It seems from what some of my gaming buddies have reported, that if you hit a really large lag and you are entering keyboard strokes at the time, when they eventually get through, the system detects it as spam.
