Sure it's been said already, but im hearing varying reports of the new bloodthirsty being better than infused.

Does bloodthirsty give the full bonus at 90% health? or does your damage keep ramping as the enemies health gets lower?

If so then BT is the way forward in pvp, but i dont have time to test it til wednesday, anyone know off the top of their heads?

I don't know where the threshold is, but Bloodthirsty is definitely better in execute range, which is the intent. So you have to decide if you want huge upfront burst or the ability to capitalize on weakened targets. Bloodthirsty is also pretty neat for hybrid builds.

The spell and weapon damage bonus begins to scale at 90% health. This means the initial strikes against your opponent will have no damage buffs, but after the 90% mark your attacks begin to gain in power every 1% past that point up to 350 spell and weapon damage at 0% health.

Means when your target is at 45% health you're looking at about 175 spell and weapon damage to all attacks hitting them. This is more powerful than the infused trait on a spell damage glyph, but your target has to be considerably weakened.

Edit: Did some more math and when your target is at 63% health your spell and weapon damage against them will be 105. This value is pretty close to the strength of infused.

well with the couple days i've run it now, i've noticed higher dmg overall under 90%, i guess it really depends on how much the BT gives at 90%, i wish there was an indepth list, to state whether it gave the full bonus @ 90% or not. Maybe 2 BT 1 infused. I need wednesday to get here lol

Someone in another thread about the same thing posted a graph that they created which shows the damage bloodthirsty does versus the damage that infused does. It made me really want to try out bloodthirsty on characters, especially the ones that do not have a good execute.

This was fully fleshed out on the PTS long ago. You do not get full bonus at 90%, it begins ramping at 90% and will overtake 3 infused at 62%. And that is assuming you have both major and minor sorcery up with your infused jewelry.

One thing to think about when it comes to PvP is that it will not affect your heals.

I can tell you from personal perspective! I run 1 infused neck and 2 bloodthirsty on my jewels. I have noticed a significant boost to my damage. Now this is speaking from a PvP perspective of course. It feels really good tho, the damage is there.

Just don't be upset when your damage value is lower on your character sheet. You will hit just as/if not harder than you do at present. Definitely worth it in my humble opinion

Realized that the hard way. Imo in pvp the increased damage is not worth the lost survivability. It’s not completly wasted, but I kinda wish I still had those 150 transmute crystals...

Idk how many here plays pvp, but BT might be nice for duels. But i would always go 3x infused over 1Bt, or 2BT for openworld cyrodiil. People seem to forget that infused boosts healing done aswell. Which is also an important thing to consider. Not only that but in actuality, infused takes Major brutality into consideration, meaning it is closer to 150 weapon damage, not the 105 it shows.

And not only that but in pvp, you dont need average good dps, you need good burst. The point is to burst people down fast enough. And the hardest part is getting people below 50% (where BT is inferior) and after 50% you will most likely win anyway.

So imo, 3x infused is the way

yeah i agree. but this sparked me another question. currently master assassin passive grants wd/sd while attacking from flank and i see it on my character sheet. does it boost my healing too?
