The Elder Scrolls Online v6.2.1 turns on the Undaunted Celebration for testing this week, and has a plethora of fixes and adjustments for both Vateshran Hollows and Markarth quest content. We’ve also started fixing some bugs affecting abilities and item sets, with more to come next week. Remember if you run into any bugs while on the PTS, please utilize /bug in-game to submit a report with information. The size of this patch is approximately 201MB. Thank you!

Undaunted Celebration
Are you Undaunted? Help test the Undaunted Celebration and defeat challenging dungeons for bonus rewards! The first final dungeon boss you defeat in a day will drop 3 Event Tickets and a special Glorious Undaunted Reward Box.

This box contains an assortment of valuable goods, motif pages, and a guaranteed chance for one of the new style pages for this event’s Opal weapons, themed for specific bosses in Direfrost Keep, the Imperial City Prison, Elden Hollow II, or Spindleclutch.
Defeating those bosses on Veteran Hard Mode has a chance to drop the Opal shoulder style page for those bosses as well!
Subsequent dungeons you complete will continue to award slightly-less-valuable Undaunted Reward Boxes, which still have a chance to drop those weapon style pages.
The Impresario offers the style pages for the Opal equipment for 5 tickets each, as well as the first three berries from the Crimson Indrik.

General

The Iron Atronach target dummy is currently missing Minor Brittle and Major Vulnerability, as well as displaying old tooltips for Hircine’s Veneer and Worm’s Ramients. These will be fixed in an upcoming PTS patch.

Antiquities

Added a new section to the Antiquity Codex that calls out all of your currently active leads.
- Please note this was included in last week’s PTS patch.
Fixed an issue where the Scrying UI would remain present when accepting a Ready Check while Scrying.
Adjusted a possible Antiquity location near Nalzthdbar Great Lift that was just a bit too close to some Reachmen - for their comfort, or yours.

Vateshran Hollows

General
- The timer for speed-based achievements now starts when you enter the first wing rather than when entering The Choosing, and it also now specifies Veteran Vateshran Hollows.
- The Rites Matron will no longer appear in the lobby during the turn-in step of Vateshran’s Rites.
- Void energy in The Choosing will persist should you log out and back in.
- You can no longer gain two of the same essence.
- Essence Remnants will now correctly apply their desired effect when interacted with.
- Adjusted the center screen messages related to point gains to make it clear how many points encounters and remaining sigils are worth.
- You will no longer receive a negative score in Vateshran Hollows should you take a long time to complete it.
Brimstone Den
- Brimstone Orbs in the lava caves are no longer shielded.
- Removed the rock platforms leading to the Essence of Fortitude within Brimstone Den and replaced them with molten mounds of dirt.
- Dremora Kyngalds will no longer attempt to run away into the lava.
- You will now always receive rewards for defeating Mynar Metron even if your pet dealt the killing blow.
- Dying outside Mynar Metron’s room will now resurrect your character at the correct graveyard/checkpoint.
- Aydolan will now be present in the Magma Queen space should you resume progress.
- The Magma Queen will now correctly be defeated should pets deal the final blow to her.
- Fire Colossi no longer reward experience when defeated.
- The Pyrelord will now correctly be defeated should pets deal the final blow to him.
- The Pyrelord will now correctly remove any Pyres still remaining when defeated.
- The Pyrelord is now much more verbose when he is defeated.
- Aydolan no longer interrupts the Pyrelord’s dialogue as he dies.
Hunter’s Grotto
- Grappling Posts in the Hunter’s Grotto will no longer have a chance to return your character to their original position after use.
- Chests spawned in The Choosing will now correctly despawn.
- Fixed an issue where several grapple posts visually altered their location.
- Monsters in Hunter’s Grotto will now attack more frequently.
- The Blessed Spriggan will now spawn when the Bristleback gatekeeper is engaged.
- The Troll gatekeeper is now immune to crowd control effects.
- You will now always receive rewards for defeating the Leptfire Keeper even if your pet dealt the killing blow.
- Increased the time you have to defeat the target Spriggan for the achievement “Give that Back!”
- Removed the Blessing of the Grove effect if you exits the arena after defeating the first Blessed Spriggan, but not the Boar Gatekeeper.
- Aydolan will now be present in the Shade of the Grove space should you resume progress.
- The portal back to The Choosing in the Shade of the Grove arena will now be present even if resuming progress.
- Shade of the Grove no longer leaves a consumable corpse.
- Lurchers in Shade of the Grove will no longer cast Grove Transference in quick succession.
- Marbana in the Shadow of the Grove encounter will no longer continue playing Crushing Limbs attack animations if blocked.
- The Reach Channeler’s Bombard ability now does damage reliably in the fight with Rahdgarak, and its damage has been increased.
- Grappling at the last second after falling off a platform in the Rahdgarak fight will kill your character much less often.
- Made the following adjustments to Rahdgarak:
  - Moved the final grapple point needed to ascend to the platform to prevent you from accidentally falling off.
  - Increased the time between Reach Channelers becoming active.
  - Reach Channelers will now become active later in the fight.
  - Reduced Rahdgarak’s velocity on his leap. He now moves a bit slower in the air, matching more closely with real life minotaurs.
  - Slightly increased the cast time on Ram.
  - Increased the damage from Luminous Apparitions and Moonlight Phantoms.
The Wounding
- The visual effects for the Wounding Portal now clear correctly when the portal switches off.
- Black Winter used by the Warden Harvesters no longer staggers you, but instead stuns you for a short duration. CC immunity will protect against this stun.
- Black Winter used by Warden Harvesters can now hit targets on bridges.
- You will no longer be blocked from progressing in the Wounding should you disconnect after being teleported by the first Wounding Portal.
- All grapple points within The Wounding can now be used when applicable.
- Adjusted the location of some grapple posts within The Wounding.
- A Winged Twilight, ever impetuous, will no longer travel through the first door before you have killed the Warden.
- Xobutar of His Graces will no longer interrupt himself.
- You will now always receive rewards for defeating Xobutar of His Graces even if your pet dealt the killing blow.
- Xobutar of His Graces will now spawn a Chest of Warriors inside The Choosing.
- Mimics created by Xobutar of His Graces will no longer appear corporeal when affected by certain player abilities.
- Aydolan will now be present in the Zakuryn the Sculptor’s space should you resume progress.
- Falling off the platform will no longer resurrect your character outside of The Wounding.
- Your character will now respawn in a better location after dying to Zakuryn the Sculptor.
- The portal back to The Choosing in Zakuryn the Sculptor’s arena will now be present even if resuming progress.
- Zakuryn the Sculptor will now correctly enrage if his Flesh Abomination is defeated while he is teleporting.
- Zakuryn the Sculptor’s Flesh Abomination will no longer vanish mysteriously from the fight space.
- Izozzunth will no longer cast Algid Downpour when you are not on the upper ring.
- Izozzunth will no longer try and teleport you back to the Wounding Portal if you are knocked off the upper ring.
- Izozzunth will no longer change color when breathing fire.
- Izozzunth will no longer cast Swallowing Souls after being interrupted during Soul Flame.
- Izozzunth will now react appropriately to being interrupted while casting Soul Flame.
- Izozzunth will now correctly be defeated should pets deal the final blow.
Champion’s Circle
- Added collision to the grappling points in the Champion’s Circle.
- Maebroogha will no longer rattle off various lines of dialogue if she is attacked while entering the fight space.
- The walls and ceilings of the Champion’s Circle will no longer be present when your progress is resumed at quest turn-in.
- Void Tear can no longer be out ranged.
- Shade Colossi will now correctly respawn while you are in the Void Tear.
- Void Mages and Void Archers will now stick around after interacting with a Void Step.
- Void Mages and Void Archers will no longer die if they spawn too far from you.
- Void Shades now spawn closer to the center during Void Trap.
- Maebroogha the Void Lich will now correctly despawn the Void Barrier when she dies.
- Maebroogha will no longer respawn if you resume progress on the turn-in step.
- Maebroogha will now correctly be defeated should pets deal the final blow to her.
- Void creatures still alive when Maebroogha is defeated will now correctly be removed.

General

Fixed an issue where safeboxes in The Reach could give out too much loot.

Achievements

Swapped icons between the “Dynastor Deposed” and “Weaned from Darkness” Achievements.
Updated the Achievement point value of the “Hollows Hustler” Achievement to be standard compared to previous similar achievements.

Furnishings

The Bust and Trophy of Maebroogha now have their final icons.
Improved collision accuracy for the “Dwarven Bed, Reach Furs Canopy” furnishing.

Homes

Sealed a hole in the ceiling of one of the towers in Shalidor’s Shrouded Realm.
Removed a small amount of excess collision near the base of the exterior stairs to the hall in Stone Eagle Aerie.
Corrected a number of minor visual issues with each of the new homes.

General

Added the ability to pickpocket certain citizens.
Guards in Markarth no longer have the ability to pass through and over trees.
Citizens in Markarth are now suitably scared of Necromantic abilities and will no longer stubbornly stand their ground.
Citizens in trespass houses should no longer have the chance to instantly respawn.
Aodhelse will no longer remain oblivious to the criminal acts perpetrated near her.
The old warrior looking for a good death will no longer resurrect shortly after receiving said good death.
Corrected some issues with deer that would cause them to behave… unnaturally *ominous music*

Monsters

Mortas’ Uppercut ability does less damage.
Void Colossus will now summon one less Void Rot.
Reduced the number of monsters in the Steamknight fight.
Rada al-Saran will no longer constantly damage his enemies when in Vampire phase.
Rada al-Saran will no longer come back again and again after being defeated in Kingdom of Ash. He’s powerful, but not THAT powerful.

General

Fixed an issue that could cause some scenes inside the Arkthzand Orrery to not be visible.
The Nchuand-Zel point of interest will now be discovered when approaching from Understone Keep.
Added a dog for you to pet in the crafting hall of Markarth. Because it’s important and he’s a good boy.
Fixed a naming issue with the Alchemy station banner in Markarth.

Quests

A Feast of Souls:
- Lady Belain will no longer disappear from the area, never to return should you relog during this quest.
- Fixed an issue where grouped players might become blocked in the Arkthzand Orrery if another group member interacted with it first.
- Fixed an issue that could cause visual defects with the map during the boss fight during this quest.
After the Storm:
- Fixed an issue where the compass and map would point you to the wrong location to speak with Fialyn.
- Reduced the interaction time with the ritual pyre during this quest.
End of Eternity: Added a skill point to the reward for this quest.
Lost in the Reach: Fixed an issue that could cause weapons to briefly disappear while using Snowy’s Whistle.
The Awakening Darkness: Bradan and his companions will now appropriately free themselves and interact with you during this quest.
The Dark Heart:
- Fixed various voiceover issues within this quest.
- Dispelling the ward into the Dark Halls now shares progress among grouped players.
The Lost Scout’s Report: Players who accept this quest via sharing will now be able to read Page 1 of Falkfyr’s Notes.
The Study of Souls: Fixed an issue that could cause a critical note to appear invisible, blocking your progress.
Vows and Oaths: Completing this quest will now appropriately count towards the Reach Grand Adventurer achievement.
What’s Hers is Ours: Fixed an issue where you were not properly guided through the delve to the quest objective.

Fixed an issue where Collectible text for the Thorn Legion and Hazardous Alchemy motif outfit pieces were not using the same format as previous motifs found in dungeon content.

Fixed an issue were some Area of Effect abilities failed to fire, such as Summon Storm Atronach and Caltrops.
Fixed an issue where some effects could remain stuck on you through unintended means.
Fixed an issue where the following Light or Heavy Attacks were not scaling dynamically with your offensive stats:
- Werewolf Berserker’s conal attack
- Unarmed fully-charged Heavy Attack
- Mend Wounds and its morphs
Fixed an instance where using movement abilities could cause you to snap back to your original point.
Battle Spirit: Reduced the healing penalty to 55%, down from 60%, to make up for some reductions of Healing Done and Taken we’ve taken out of the game.

Buffs and Debuffs

Fixed an issue where some Major and Minor Buffs, such as Evasion or Magickasteal, would fail to properly work when refreshing.
Minor Toughness: Fixed an issue where being affected by a duration based source of this buff, such as Maturation, it would completely replace itself rather than refresh, causing you to continuously lose the 10% portion of the Max Health you gained.

World

Fixed an issue that could cause the experience bar for the Soul Magic skill line to display the incorrect amount of current experience for some characters.

General

You can now obtain Staves in the Kyne’s Kiss set.
Fixed an issue which prevented Restoration Staves from dropping in the Shadow of the Red Mountain set.

Crafted Sets

Oblivion’s Foe: Oblivion’s realms have been full as of late with the poor souls affected by this set, so it is being reworked again. Whenever you deal damage with Soul Magic using the 5-piece bonus, you mark the target’s soul, dealing 12820 Magic Damage over 10 seconds.
- This set will not refresh itself on targets it is already active on and will wait for the duration to end before reapplying.
- Additional changes to the 2-4 piece bonus will be coming in the next PTS patch.

Dungeon & Arena Sets

Pestilent Host: Fixed an issue where this item set could stack multiple times on a target from the same wearer, rather than simply refreshing itself.

Trial Sets

Aegis of Galenwae: Fixed an issue where this set and its perfected version’s Empower granted were not the correct duration. Empower from this set will now last 3 seconds, rather than 2.

Monster Masks

Valkyn Skoria: Fixed an issue where the cooldown on this item set’s tooltip was incorrect.

Ability Altering Weapons

Frenzied Momentum: Increased the damage proc from this set to 10834, up from 9028, to better account for the wind-up period of your Heavy Attacks; its total DPS was lower than other sets when getting multiple procs off cooldown.
Void Bash: Fixed an issue where the Major Maim applied from this set was fired in a smaller radius than intended. It is now 12 meters as the tooltip states, rather than 8 meters.
Wrath of Elements: Fixed an issue where the damage done from this set was not affecting each target you hit, and would instead cause the tethered target to take damage from each of the enemies you were hitting.

New Life Festival

Fixed some issues where the Imperial Charity Writ NPC and the Old Life Remembrance bestower might not be visible if a certain holiday isn’t toggled on.

Fixed an issue where the error message that appears when you attempt to improperly use Chef Arquitius's Torte Dissertation or Chef Arquitius's Lost Thesis would refer to the required Recipe Scrolls by temporary names.
Clarified on the item tooltips for the new War Torte items that they are compatible with other foods' and drinks' effects, and specifically called out that they cannot be used by characters under Level 10.
- As part of this, we've hidden their Required Level (since there are no other versions of these items at other levels).
The Rubyblossom Extract and Cyrodiil Citrus ingredients now require you to type "DELETE" to confirm their deletion.
Mythic items will now always be reconstructed at level 50 CP 160

Item Set Collection

Fixed an issue where many PvP Item Sets displayed as a default Breton style instead of the style of your character’s alliance.
Fixed an issue where many Item Sets had an incorrect default enchantment instead of the enchantment they normally drop with.
Fixed an issue where some Item Sets displayed weapon types that were no longer obtainable. If a weapon type is excluded from dropping for a particular Item Set, that weapon type will not show up in the collection.
A center screen message will now properly display informing you that you've collected an item set piece when deconstructing an uncollected piece.
Fixed an issue where the Help entry for the new Item Set Collection system incorrectly used the Champion icon instead of the Item Set Collection icon.

Furnishings

The new “Music Box, Mother Morrowind’s Sacred Lullaby” and “Music Box, Never Fall, Never Die” furnishings now have their intended music.

Stadia Game Client

Fixed an issue where opening text chat with Gamepad Mode and leaving via keyboard would leave you stuck in Gamepad Mode.

General

Fixed an issue that caused some quests to remain visible in the map’s quest panel when subsequently changing the view to another map.
Updated the behavior of the brief animation for a new inventory category to trigger when you open your inventory rather than immediately after getting an item (so it's actually, you know... seen)
Added text search to the Quickslot tab of the inventory.
The icon for the Hungering Void Shield now matches the rest of the weapon set.

Alliance War

Fixed an issue where Cyrodiil Leaderboards would not properly display the home campaign name in the header.

Gamepad Mode

Fixed an issue where hovered pins would sometimes not reset their size after closing the map.

Guilds & Guild Functionality

Fixed a UI error that could occur when viewing Guild Banks.
