Question about Telvar Stones

when you are in a group in the sewers and you kill something I was under the impression you share the telvar with the other players in the group.
today was in the sewers with a friend, had 3x multiplier and I soloed a flag boss while my friend was at the home base. I received 900 telvar which is half the normal amount of 1.8k, but my friend did not receive the other 900 telvar. If they didn't receive the telvar because they were too far away, why wouldn't it give me the full 1.8k? Is this normal? Do you just lose out on half the telvar if they are too far away or is this a bug? Can someone please explain how this works?

✭✭✭✭✭Someone else may have hit the flag boss. If someone from another alliance is careful they can damage a boss and never be seen by you. They get half. For your group member, I believe they have to be close by and at least heal or hit the boss.0 -
big_ear_midget✭✭✭There was no one else around. No one was sneaking or got a hit on the flag boss. This has happened at other times as well even with just ads, where i get half the telvar but my friend doesn't get any of the telvar.1
