How much scrying do you have to do to count for event?

Does scrying and digging once a day count or does multiple excavations keep adding on the same character?

    are you asking as far as qualifying for the house/pet/guest? or for the ticket/indrik based event?

    because I would imagine to contribute to the house/pet/guest you can scry as much as you want. to qualify to get rewards at the end - you just need to own a chapter, no scrying needed. and to get tickets - you need to do Skyrim dailies.

    So does scrying more than once a day on a character count more than only scrying once?
    I mean is there any reason to scry more than once a day on a character towards the community goal?
    Not about tickets, just the community goal.

    Not about tickets, just the community goal.

    This event is like the Dragon event, where all scrying done during the event period counts.

    It's not like the Pathfinder event where the achievement only counted once per account/server.

    Thanks, that is what I would think but would be nice if ZOS published clearer rules on events.

    Don't worry too much imho. There will be a load of players scrying/excavating.
    Regarding the community goals, we don't know how much scrying/excavation needs to be done since ZOS didn't revealed how much the 100% refers to: same happened with the Summerset event - we never knew how many players were needed to get the pathfinder achievement in order to the 100% be achieved.

    Once a day, yep. Iirc it was the same for the Summerfall and Dragon Rise events, they didn't update in real time but rather once every day. I can't remember what time the updates happened for those events though, and I don't think ZOS said when they do for this one.

    Also, be sure to DIG UP the antiquities as well, not just scry!

    I know a lot of players simply say "scry", but that's actually only half of getting an antiquity. :)

    Ok it has been an lack of information here.
    As I understand it you get 3 tickets for an of the 3 Skyrim dailies, harrowstorms, boss or delve.

    Any bonuses for scrying/excavating? bonus drops or xp boost? Thinking I might level up some alts simply for the chest lighting up, has this to be in Skyrim?
    Khajiit is confused but ready for action.

    Each treasure you dig up from excavation counts.

    Well, there is the announcement in the launcher and in-game, the article linked in the news section, and a whole discussion thread (news section) where Gina has been clarifying almost all questions.

    Not sure what information is missing .

    Your personal rewards - tickets, motifs, and so on - are from the Skyrim activities (dailies, bosses, etc.)

    Then there's a community thing like the "Slay Dragons Save Kittens" thing in Elsweyr. That is specifically about digging this time.

    You can dig anywhere, we don't have to plough every square inch of Skyrim several times over.
