Style stones versus outfit station ?

Hi i was wondering

Collecting stylestones for gear ... isnt that just a waste of time. I have the impression you can buy any outfit style you want with the outfit station for gold.

Am i right that with the outfit station , that the style stones become totally useless ?

    The style stones are not used in the outfit station. For the most part, unless you craft something and decide to save the gold by crafting in the style you want, style stones only matter now for master writs.

    Oh, forgot to mention, a few stones are also used in furnishings. Those are also worth collecting.
