Do add ons =slow load times?

I have been pondering if my eight Add-ones are causing my slow load times and getting stuck in the loading screens.

I had an issue the first week with the zr mini map not letting me travel in the pvp zone so it could be possible.

Has anyone heard anything to this effect from zos?

The more your computer has to process, the more time it takes to load.

The slow load screens are not because of addons - there are plenty of people who don't use addons who are getting them as well. It's mostly just network congestion and overloaded servers on ZOS' end.

I haven't notice slowdowns in loading screens too much.
I run 35 addons. Tested with all on and off. No difference.

I run close to 60 addons. The slow loading depends on the server condition at that moment.

I use minion, yet half of the plugins i don't see that are on ESOUI? why?

I don't know. Do you have an example of something that you see on the site but not in Minion?

I did some testing and I was wrong. I guess I didn't realize there so so many add ons

Addon loading DOES slow overall loading, but the difference all depends on that addon. There's not much out there right now that would even make it noticeable, and that's only if the addon is programmed poorly.

For instance, loading something the size of Auctioneer (in WoW) actually delayed the initial load. Anything I have found in ESO so far hasn't gotten to that extent.

The way addons work is a lot of them load after the load screens complete (youlls notice some of them not working for up to ~10-20 seconds after the screens done).

so no, no real impact. I've over 30 and my load screens are ultra fast long as the server/client bugs don't delay it.
