Need help with necro flame skulls on weaving

Anyone find rly hard to LA weave the necro skulls? it's an amazing skill but with a looong animation, i'm using force pulse instead to have a better dps because i can use it more times, i feel like the skull animation is so long it makes me slow on weaving.

I even rather use Elemental weapon than necro skulls, wish they would make it better and more fluid.

The passives are rly nice to have though, so any advice how to weave necro skulls?

And if i'm not using skulls am i losing too much in dps therms if i can get 100% crit on the front bar without flame skulls? ( Back will lose 10% though), and i wont have a 20% strong attack every third cast.

Force shock uses less mana, is more fluid, deals more aoe damage (since you will always have a status effect on the enemy), and if you kill an enemy with it you restore almost 3k magicka (that adds up with WoE and destro ult).

I feel like skulls=more crit and more single target dmg

Force shock= better sustain, better aoe damage, better status effect proc

    there is a slight delay after skulls that I've noticed too but its not that hard to get down when you practice enough. just have patience for that LA to go off

    Yeah, the skull is very difficult to weave. I try my best, and it's still slow compared to other spammables. I guess this is as good as it gets.

    The point of weaving though is to squeeze more DPS from a rotation, so if you get more DPS with the skulls even with the slow animation, it's worth keeping.

    I tried using a Skull-Skull-Blastbones rotation on my magcro and it was just too awkward to try to make it work, so while I liked the results of the skull when I could get the weave right, I just scrapped it in favor of destructive clench from an inferno staff for the extra DoT. I know its not meta, but I plan to rework the positioning on my sets so that I can use Master Inferno Staff on front bar.

    Similar to birds for wardens, the animation just feels slow and clunky unfortunately
