I would like something as simple as gear that drops from players.

I am NOT suggesting that you can loot your opponents stuff, but that we could have new sets added to PvP that drop from players. Perhaps the quality could be dictated by your opponents alliance rank. They could even have mythic leads drop etc... it is an added incentive to pvp.

This could be a new contested zone or the existing two.

lots of thing but 1 that is simple is: make quest that give good rewards and do thing that max level players find challenging and rewarding, also multiple options quest/histories, more diference between magic and stamina, AND GUILD ACTIVITIES like bases building, fighting agains other guilds, resources gattering, etc look at neverwinter online and do it better

Season it, and keep it at max 5 degrees celcius.
    Jk.

Personally I still have 1000s of things to do, but my way of keeping it fresh would be to keep adding new stuff to it (both for PVE'ers and PVP'ers) here I'm mainly thinking of new zones, stories, quests, because that's what I personally crave (a PVP'er might have other ideas)

Oh and if someone feels bored with the game, then I'd say they should take a break. I've personally needed one for a bit, makes the game all that more fun to come back to

I'd like some sort of 'seasons' in Cyrodiil possibly with special rewards like coldfire siege or double gladiator proofs. Make them short like 7 or 14 days with rotating special rules. Things like
    - no ultimates
    - no player name plates
    - class skills only
    - randomise alliances
    - no potion usage
If it was done in a separate campaign people could still play standard Cyro or hop into a special Cyro with weird rules.

Someone had mentioned in another thread collecting pieces to be able to upgrade your house would be pretty fun! That would definitely keep me running around all silly!

That was me, and I'll share some of my ideas

This was the suggestion that got me thinking (and probably not just me but I haven't found much discussion yet)
I like the house idea! Each event instead of berries, you could collect different ' building materials' and make your house bigger. .

I started thinking we could buy parts to assemble the "magic" door...frame, knob, panels and lintel (or four somethings).

Say with an event ticket you could buy:
    Door
    Knob
    Doorframe
    Lintel

(instead of or in addition to the feathers to upgrade an Indrik)

So then I was thinking about the whole "housing" and "pocket plane" type thing; also now that we have the option to put labels on our houses (and the storage chests for that matter) so now you could "label" these little rooms.

Once you get them all, you can combine them into a "pocket room" which is roughly equivalent to the free houses (i.e. one squarish room with neutral walls, floor); the space would allow for similar item, furnishing limit and so on.

    Using them:
Like the chests, it could be considered a "service" and there would be a limit of how many could be placed into your existing houses (they would NOT function as rooms on their own). You then can go "into the room" and then return through the same portal to the same "house" that you came from. No traveling to other houses via this, no placing of other "services" into this type of room.

Upgrade or Evolve or ... how about we call it "Renovation"

Like you can "upgrade" your Indrik with berried, you can "upgrade" your "pocket room" with...."Renovation [things]" maybe motif type things such that you would have a sort of overhaul of appearance similar to the basic motifs.

So for "pocket/additional rooms" the motifs would be equivalent to the berries

I.e "Argonian" renovation would include mud-like walls and ceilings, with maybe a small yellow round "window" in two walls; and a reed type floor appearance.

I think that there would be a LOT of possibilities here

    .
edited to clean up appearance a tich

This is a great idea, very creative ❤

Housing: Increase the slots for the bigger houses, cant really use them in full/limits what we can do. The pathing is a step in the right direction to making them more alive.

Trials: get all the bugs out of them! should be able to see all AOE's etc and taunts should work etc. Also add some different mecs to it.

Fix performance Don't need to add anything there.

Dungeons: All old base game dungeons should all have a version two, some dont, would be good to add these would spice up old dungeon content. Add the new HM flag to all dungeons, much easier and nicer if all dungeons were the same. Also maybe have a Legendary mode which is harder than vet. The ones we got this year in DLC content were fantasic, more like this please :)

Role: All classes should be able to do all roles and succeed in it on a end game lvl, do agree some classes should be better that others in certain areas, but not cool if wanna get achivements on a character and my class-role is blocking me from doing it becuase the player base has ruled it out cas it is not viable.

Overland: Have a toggle for easy or hard mode. Would please everyone. Plus base game zones need a makeover. It really gives me an eye twitch that in Summerset you ahve this amazing landscape and Alter ruins, and on the base game island it feels completely seperate, where it is the same land in the lore.

Fishing More rewards for doing this content, not much in it really.

PVP: More battleground maps and types....maybe a maze/race type where you have to get to a target 1st. Also cryodill, add more daedric weapons and make the different keeps feel different the copy and paste layouts are old.

Questing: More indepth into the lore of Elder Scrolls universe would be cool, also seem to be getting into a copy and paste with main quests with new chapters. Next one needs to be different.

    Just my two cents. :)

Wow what an amazing list ❤

I started a thread about events a while ago to give suggestions on improving those.

One suggestion was introducing Lore holidays.
If we had an in-game event calendar that would show when holidays celebrated in lore are celebrated and where we could go to decorated areas and spend time with each other to celebrate.
I was thinking of how the TESV: Skyrim mod Holidays by isoku worked, where it would say on a leaflet when Harvest Fest would be, and I would plan my adventuring route to go to a city specifically to dance and drink and have fun.
This would mainly tie to RPers really but others could travel to the holiday locations for some fun.

There's loads of holidays based in lore, so there'd be many opportunities to travel from area to area to celebrate them with others.
So I feel like this could give a lot to the game for people who would enjoy this kind of thing. Would give people more to do and will bring you back to areas you've not been to for ages

The idea is that it wouldn't particularly encourage us all to celebrate these. No particular rewards or anything for going. Just there's a holiday in this location, maybe pop along to the party if you want to?
I love this idea. Sims 4 has something similar, only they never did a whole lot with it, and of course that's a single-player game so you couldn't interact with other players, just NPCs.

Way more varied and region-themed beast enemies in the overworld, and make the men/mer/beast races NPC's more varied as well, and not just the 14th copy of the same enemy behaviour with just with a different name.

It'd be nice if they bothered to randomly introduce at least a couple of such changes per DLC/expansion.

I'd like a skill that you can place on your bar to give you an extra 30% speed. One where you could just go do the tutorial in Cyrodiil and acquire and use it every day on every character to minimize the time wasted going from here to there.

    Oh wait...

I'd like to expand on this idea of yours Chaos, and say, maybe more rewards for us solo fishermen/women.

Rewards such as; set boots from the area you are in.

For example: in Auridon, a solo player fishing has a chance to catch Boots of the Twin Sisters. (I think that's the main quest set from there anyhow) And boots from many of the other overland sets from their respective areas. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Continuing to update to the Cyrodill map

Fixed siege on forts (same HP as walls).
Then we wouldn't have to carry around so much space consuming siege -> I bet a lot of guild banks are filled with unused siege weapons...most of the time you don't go back to the banker...you just buy more -> it's like plastic accumulating in our oceans !

I have a feeling the architecture of Cyrodill is the performance/pleasure inhibiting culprit
Too many players always at the same areas..why not add some Battleground orientated themes to Cyrodill...I know they already sound similar to what already exists (Scroll = Relics, Capture the flag = Resource, Crazy King = Hammer, Deathmatch = Alessia Bridge), but if an incentive is offered (more damage for alliance x minutes, more resistance for your alliance x minutes, more AP for your alliance X minutes etc...it could be refreshing)

Naval ports and ships in Cyrodill

Having a new option to fight from ships would be interesting, not sure how it could be created and turn out in relation to the game's engine...but the idea is attractive and I think a lot of players would enjoy this.

    Carriages to transport friends/troops

Vehicles do not exist in the Elder Scrolls Online and it's a damn shame. You can often see fast travel carriages here and there, but an actual physical and useable mode of multiple persons transport would be a major FUN factor which is often undermined.

More PVE Arena based content for 4 or 2 man groups

At the moment we have VDSA and BRP. I think the addition of two more instances would be nicely welcomed (even if one is a revamp of VDSA -> it's an arena after all...it can change...) You could also try switching up player habits and make a 6 man arena (mini trial)...why the hell not? :)

    Food for thought.

I agree that overland content is too easy...quests feel really cheesey when you hear a boss start his vilainous phrase only to be killed half way through his sentence..

Also (real in game story) I took a whole bunch of Roleplayers (Yes real roleplayers) to Normal Sunspire...none of them have any in game experience in ESO and are not geared the way you would want a group to be setup....they all found it incredibly boring and said...'that's it?'...

The game really needs an intermediate mode ASAP before we die of boredom.

There have been a number of posts about the overland game being too easy. I think those of us who have been around awhile have forgotten that for someone who are not close to maxing out on CPs they are going to still be challenged. Instead of making the whole overland harder, why not have two levels like there are in dungeons, regular and veteran. Regular would be what overland is now, and veteran would be 50% harder. That should meet the challenge aspect of the game that high CP players are wanting while still allowing lower level players the opportunity to enjoy the game.

I wish the game had better music.

Seriously, if I were to try and think of any music from the game right now, I can't even whistle three notes to any song, they are so unmemorable. The only songs that come to mind are from previous Elder Scrolls games.

Whereas I can still remember music all the way back from Everquest 1!

It's not that the music is bad. It just doesn't evoke any emotions for me. It doesn't make me want to explore places, it doesn't increase the tension of major fights, etc..

I know I can't expect an L2 music experience or anything, but ESO just seems to have the most lackluster soundtrack of any MMO I have ever played.

What if zos stops screwing the long time players over? That would be something fresh that they can do. Instead of refusing to upgrade our maelstroms and ripping away rapids, why not throw the older players a bone once in a while? Instead of giving us reskinned mounts and cosmetics that make our toons go bald, why not fix all the bugs that's plagued this game, some of which have existed for years. Now that's what I call spicy and fresh.

    __________________________Backstories:_________________________

Ras Kalik the Vestige, a renown Redguard warrior; He has been blessed to save Tamriel from Molag Bal’s destructive Planemeld while reuniting the Five Companions. His further accomplishments after defeating Molag Bal, has been to stop the destruction of Morrowind, the Clockwork City, return order to the isle of Summerset and create a new king in Wrothgar and a queen in Elsywer. These events have made him a living legend and continue to lead him into new adventures throughout Tamriel, as well as into the hearts of many ladies including the Elf Queen, Aryenn. Over many years of adventurous travels, Ras Kalik had become a loner, until he re-visited his homeland of Alik'r.

Alik'r and it's cities were overrun by the undead Ra-Netu and therefore he made an allegiance with Alik'r's own Ash'abah tribe. These Ash'abah with his help, cleansed the city of Sentinel in Alik'r desert and it's surrounding areas of the undead brought to life by the Withered Hand. After rescuing Sentinel from the undead zombies, King Fahara’jad’s personal bodyguard the Goliath of Hammerfell, who was given this name by Imperials in the region; was asked to assist the tribe after learning of the defeat of the Withered Hand to the Ash'abah. Kalik promised Goliath he would task him with fighting living enemies on the battlefield if he so desired. Goliath being a Yokudan warrior wields a massive sword in respect to the Ansei, a gift given by the Imperial, Cinan Tharn. Not many soldiers are able to wield double two handed weapons, but Goliath loves to get up and personal in a fight, so he also carries a giant maul, both weapons laced with magical flames.

Jux Blackheart is a master thief that masquerades as a Bard at the Sisters of the Sands inn, with his younger sidekick Lucky Hunch for pilfering and gambling during this time. Jux was known to infiltrate any towns bank vault he came across and even delved into Ayelid ruins without detection. Kalik can vividly recall the night he met the famed thief. Jux found himself rummaging thru a slightly inebriated Kalik’s pocket for too long, on a full-mooned night and because of his greed and the glimmer of his golden armor in the moonlight. He lost his left pinky fingertip as a lesson! But in return, he gained a new friend, as it was his first time since a child being caught red-handed...

Upon arrival back in the Alik'r after many moons of adventuring, Ras Kalik ventures to Bergama. Visiting The Winking Jackal, he runs into Jux Blackheart, who introduces him to the coin game Crowns vs Forebearers (Heads vs Tails) and Golden Dwemer (RBG).... Jux constantly takes gold from the unfortunate thru theft or gambling, his biggest gambling victim is actually his partner in crime known as Lucky Hunch the Gambler. Lucky doesn't mind losing any gold coins to Jux... as Jux saved him from Altmer slavers in Summerset, by stealing a key and sending him on a boat to the mainland years prior. Lucky spent years in slavery with Khajiits in Summerset and picked up the art of subterfuge, using illusion magic disguises and stealing there.

Kaotik Von’Daemon an outcast, and a half-caste between a Breton mother and a Redguard father. Kaotik become a pariah due to his conjuration of Daedra pets. He was taught healing magic during his childhood years by his Breton mother. His father due to Redguard customs exiled him from the desert, sending him by wagon caravan to be a soldier in the war in Cyrodiil. He happened to meet Kalik while traveling from Alik'r, during this long caravan ride the caravan he was in was ambushed in Bangkorai by a group of bandits. Kalik by chance was also traveling thru this area on his Auridon Warhorse (which was bestowed to him by his friend, Darien Gautier). During this ambush, Kalik was able to rescue five hostages from the bandits. Kaotik was the first rescued, and Ras Kalik also recruited him to be in the Ash'abah tribe. These core Ash'abah tribesmen may never be seen together in travel as they partake in their own adventures but they always know what each other is doing; as they frequent a hideout in northern Bankorai. Their hideout an old Orc castle ruin, is kept watch by Nuzhimeh and she passes messages written between them, and frequently they also enjoy her company and her bed.

The other men rescued were a Dunmer banker, an Imperial mercenary and two other soldiers, an Imperial and a Breton Knight, stating proudly he was an Akavir descendent. One of the Imperials, Cinan, claimed to be related to Abnur Tharn the Battlemage of the Imperial Elder Council (One of Ras Kalik's mentors in the Five Companions). Cinan Tharn was really Abnur's drunkard treasure hunting illegitimate son. He was caught smuggling artifacts out of the Ayleid ruins in Cyrodiil and the elder of the two Imperials was Tyrus Septim a retired Imperial navy battle-mage (now a Lycan mercenary living in the city of Rimmen) and guard to the Tharn family. As much as Abnur Tharn hated his half-sister Euraxia, he dislikes his bas†ard son Cinan more. Tyrus now a ruffian and privateer had been paid by Abnur Tharn to watch over Cinan as much as possible. Cinan Tharn a drunkard, loves to drink at least a quarter barrel of Nord mead before he raids various delves and dungeons for relics to sell on the black market. Cinan also plans to one day, run an illegal gambling ring... which he thinks will net him more gold for his wares.

The Dunmer captive shackled to the Imperials looked familiar to Kalik from his time in Morrowind.... and he recognized him as Tythis Andromo a House Telvanni slave-owner and banker from Vvardenfell. During a rough interrogation to Tythis, Ras Kalik learnt why the bandits accosted him. The racist Dunmer was providing slaves as soldiers for the Three Banner War. The bandits were trying to negotiate a lucrative ransom for Andromo and the Imperials.... Kalik did not need any of this gold and he could never set Tythis free as he did with the two Imperial soldiers. His past involvement with slavery and war crimes, made Kalik's blood boil. He chose not to execute Tythis, as he figured the worse punishment for this former rich and opulent slave owner, is to now be an imprisoned servant for Ras Kalik and the tribe.

Herzog Zwei the Genesis a reknown Imperial/Akavirri battle-mage. His roots going back to Akavir through his mother’s bloodline. (His mother is descended from the Akaviri, through Versidue-Shae, and his Imperial father met her in Hakoshae, while traveling) Herzog earned the nickname "the Genesis" from his father as a child, as he was his mother's first born child, and last, as she tragically died in child-birth.

Herzog was seeking to purchase an artifact from Cinan Tharn, before their capture and was meeting Tyrus while in Rimmen, who introduced him to Cinan. This artifact being the Ayelid artifact; the sword Sinweaver. After their rescue and the exchange of gold to Cinan for the sword he decided to slip away before Ras Kalik could question who he was, and why the Akavir descendant really wanted that sword. Herzog was headed to Nagastani — An Ayleid ruin in eastern Cyrodiil. He had read in scrolls that the Sword would give him magical powers to meet his mothers spirit, if he performed an Ayleid ritual at an old shrine hidden there. Equipped with the artifact sword, he was off to start his own adventure but Ras Kalik, did indeed notice the sword however and instead sent a letter to Jux Blackheart (whom also was interested in Ayleid treasures), to attempt to find Herzog and acquire the sword. (*Azani Blackheart in Elder Scroll's Oblivion is Jux's descendant some 747 years later)

And so the Redguard, Imperial and Akaviri men parted ways ... While Ras Kalik went off to Elsweyr to encounter the latest threat to Tamriel, with Abnur Tharn and Sai Sahan - - DRAGONS!! Little did Ras Kalik know a few people were awaiting him in Senchal besides Sai. A necromancer survived his attack on the Withered Hand, while in Alik'r. The necromancer known as Auriek Siet'ka is also following him to the land of the Khajiits and Cacique the Sage of Ius a Shaman mystic who has become attuned spiritually with Tu'whacca (a Redguard God) and Ius (the Animal God), after being burned severely by the escaped dragons in Elsywer, is awaiting his arrival also. Aurik is a soldier of the Daggerfall Covenant that was introduced to necromancy while in the military, even though this magicka art is not spoken of openly by most of the Military leaders. He came to Alik'r and worked with the Withered Hand before Ras Kalik intervened on their plans. After the defeat of the Withered Hand, he aligned with the Worm Cult, and is constantly adapting and perfecting his necromantic arts.

After his journey to Rimmen, Kalik heads south to Senchal, in the southern regions of Elyswer. This new adventure will also put him on a path to meet a strange Redguard man. The stranger which was infected with an untreated Peyrite disease and also was the exiled from the Order of the New Moon cult, due to his sickness. He originally joined the cult to worship Laatvulon, the green dragon, mistakenly thinking it was the Daedric prince Peyrite. This confused and suffering cultist is known as Tsar al-Bomba and he is on a path to spread the disease. He was originally infected in Orccrest while recruiting members there. Can Ras Kalik and the shaman Cacique cure this poor soul, only time will tell. Little does Tsar al-Bomba know, that his infection is tied to Vampirism, and eventually the desire for blood will take over his mind. Senchal also offers Kalik his latest love interest... Aeliah. Whom he fondly led thru battles with the Dragonguard.

After the trek thru the heat, tropical and desert climate of Northern and Southern Elyswer, Ras Kalik heads north to the cold mountain range of Skyrim. His companion friend Lyris beckons for him with a letter sent by crow...

Movárth Piquine - a former vampire hunter (now infected), within the Fighter's Guild (and a secretive necromancer) was in Skyrim working with the Morthaal Guard. On a patrol mission he was caught in Frewien's ice curse outside of Morthaal with the frozen undead. Movárth's vampiric infection kept him from becoming an undead minion to the curse. He was able to use necromantic ice-magic to encase himself safely until he was freed with Freiwen, when the Vestige Ras Kalik broke the curse.

Uri Ice-Heart - brother of Urfon Ice-Heart. The twin sons of Atli and Oljourn Ice-Heart. The Ice-Heart family are originally from Markarth but now reside on the Jerall Mountain range near Cyrodiil, with their younger sister Araki. The twins had joined the Winterborn Reachmen while living in Markarth. Urfon pushed west to Orsinium with the Winterborn Clan, leaving his family behind. Uri stayed behind with his parents and sister to live in the family cabin for safety, avoiding the Vampire plague infiltrating the Reach. After news reaches him and he hears of Urfon's death... Uri leaves and heads home and is seeking vengeance. Meanwhile, his sister has also moved on to Windhelm to join the Fighter's guild. He will visit his sister, once before going to seek vengeance and she will craft him armor mixed with ice, called Stalhrim armor. Uri fearing death, after his brother's passing, falls victim to the convincing talk of Movárth at a Nordic tavern, and will also becomes a vampire.

Fishing: I'd like to see the ability to upgrade your fishing rod with little perks thrown in at different levels. For example - chance to catch multiple fish, chance to catch rare bait that can be used to fish up "mountable fish as housing items", chance to fish up rare items that can be turned in to "buy" pieces to build a boat.....

Roaming world bosses with "special" loot drops which only drops from that boss.

Offer something more to do with tickets from events. I've only been playing for 2 years and even for me the Indrik has gotten old. Offer special furnishings, other types of mounts to collect and save for, a wider variety of pets that can be saved for from event to event.

I would love to see spcial GM events held by @ZOS_GinaBruno and a team to offer special quests with participation awards. EQ2 used to do this and it was a great community/developer building event.

Allow us to resize furnishings. I think it would make almost every item more useful.
