I'll start here ; I love our events as they give me a focus for a time and the incentive to work towards goals and rewards. I want more incentives to play. I'm a vet player that doesn't end game as such (i dont do vet trials )

I'm not saying have more events as they can give you the feeling of burnout if they are too close together. I personally need some spice in my game.....i want to play more hours but im getting bored earlier....when events are on I get more involved, i feel more motivated to work towards goals like collecting style pages and the Indrik mounts.

Thanks in advance for your replies ❤

I always thought it'd be neat if PvP had the final killing blow in slow motion, and a little gory. Except the attacker could not be damaged during those extra two seconds of death scene.

Someone had mentioned in another thread collecting pieces to be able to upgrade your house would be pretty fun! That would definitely keep me running around all silly!

Re PVE, I would like the environment to react to your character more... like when you kill a NPC if would be cool if other NCP’s reacted to the body (like in Skyrim when they would all crowd round acting all shocked).... I would also like my character to be able to move more fluidly... like when you leap a fence... maybe leap over like Ellie does in TLOF2.... and my horse.... I’d like them to move more fluidly too....

I’ve got loads... but yeah that’s a couple of things....

Someone had mentioned in another thread collecting pieces to be able to upgrade your house would be pretty fun! That would definitely keep me running around all silly!

That was me, and I'll share some of my ideas

This was the suggestion that got me thinking (and probably not just me but I haven't found much discussion yet)
I like the house idea! Each event instead of berries, you could collect different ' building materials' and make your house bigger. .

I started thinking we could buy parts to assemble the "magic" door...frame, knob, panels and lintel (or four somethings).

Say with an event ticket you could buy:
    Door
    Knob
    Doorframe
    Lintel

(instead of or in addition to the feathers to upgrade an Indrik)

So then I was thinking about the whole "housing" and "pocket plane" type thing; also now that we have the option to put labels on our houses (and the storage chests for that matter) so now you could "label" these little rooms.

Once you get them all, you can combine them into a "pocket room" which is roughly equivalent to the free houses (i.e. one squarish room with neutral walls, floor); the space would allow for similar item, furnishing limit and so on.

    Using them:
Like the chests, it could be considered a "service" and there would be a limit of how many could be placed into your existing houses (they would NOT function as rooms on their own). You then can go "into the room" and then return through the same portal to the same "house" that you came from. No traveling to other houses via this, no placing of other "services" into this type of room.

Upgrade or Evolve or ... how about we call it "Renovation"

Like you can "upgrade" your Indrik with berried, you can "upgrade" your "pocket room" with...."Renovation [things]" maybe motif type things such that you would have a sort of overhaul of appearance similar to the basic motifs.

So for "pocket/additional rooms" the motifs would be equivalent to the berries

I.e "Argonian" renovation would include mud-like walls and ceilings, with maybe a small yellow round "window" in two walls; and a reed type floor appearance.

I think that there would be a LOT of possibilities here

    .
edited to clean up appearance a tich

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I have to disagree with this. But to each their own. As this is a mostly pve focused game it's not one I'd really come to for pvp plus there are games that do the competitive gameplay better.

What could be added in though? Maybe more random world events? More stuff to actually do in the world? Perhaps even random chance to events in a dungeon to keep it a bit more fresh? Not sure. But as for events I'd really like to see them change them up a bit. PVP and Zone events just are kind of meh to me. I like ones like Witches Festival, Jesters Festival, New Life because they change things up from the usual stuff but they also repeat each year so I'd like to see events changed up be like something we don't see all year round and change them up each time.

The Undaunted event should switch gear drops from different dungeons. Like Burning spellweave drops from Crypt of Hearts (for example) and total random stuff like that. But over the course of the event the players can start to figure out what dungeons drop what.

Just be kinda fun/chaotic way to farm for gear over a week or two.

Antiquities was a great way to add spiciness and freshness.

I suggest adding things to all zones that utilize the Dragonguard grapple hook and the tame vinetongues (fire rocks) as well as other abilities from expansions. There was a grapple location in Blackreach that an NPC used, but I couldn't use it? BOOOOO!

Holiday events to actually bring people together. Sorry solo players, but festivals feeling like.. actual festivals with group events rather than being so many fetch-quests a day and get some loot would be nice. Not just “oh it’s witches festival, more xp and a sugar skull.” Woop-de-do.

Maybe some halloween (or whatever season it is) orientated world boss spawns that cannot be solo’d and require a bunch of people to complete, maybe a dungeon that spawns on normal and vet around that time with exclusive drops, same with a trial which people can hop into to get some goodies. Unsure how to suggest for PvP as i perish the thought of adding anything to cyro without it lagging to death, maybe tweak rewards of the worthy drops according to the seasons. Actually make festivals feel worth something rather than just an xp grind.

End all the zone events(keep the double drop for zone specific features ex:maelstrom, cloudrest etc), delete jester fest and new life they are horrible repetitive and boring a literal loading screen simulator. Send the crew back to work for a real event something fun that doesn't require 16 characters on an account playing load screen sim for rng boxes dull of disappointment... make fun events something we can do together or solo give actual incentives not rng box fest more the like of the frost skin earnable rewards. Hallowjack had plentiful rewards but abit to common and other than boss hunting it falls flat needs more earnables more event content. Add costumes, skins, mounts, makeup, eyelashes, tattoos something other than scratching the lint out of my wallet because you can't come up with a single idea that doesn't cost $20+ in the crown store.

Enough gating indriks and impresario merchandise missed several indriks because bad sources of tickets pve players having to pvp and vice versa. Just sell the entire selection year round either way we gonna earn tickets or crown store buy them just put it on the shelf and leave it there for those who want it.

Pvp events may as well cancel or make the rewards guarenteed drops as the game runs so badly theres no point in trying anymore.

Break up the zone events and have massive year of events pick a date have the year of vvardenfell or summerset but include its 2 dungeon dlcs, the chapter, and zone dlc as all part of the same event it'd break up alot of this zone congestion giving us a few places to go and farm without 40 of us crashing a server trying to loot an ore node.

    1) Progress stories within existing zones. It would allow new content with a lower production cost (as much of the art work has already bern done).

    2) Support emergent gameplay in PvE such as allowing players to properly join guiilds/societies in the game and be part of their ruling councils/groups with other players.

In both cases the idea is to further tie us into the world, rather than make us feel as if the player actions have been laminated on top of a static world.

I started a thread about events a while ago to give suggestions on improving those.

One suggestion was introducing Lore holidays.
If we had an in-game event calendar that would show when holidays celebrated in lore are celebrated and where we could go to decorated areas and spend time with each other to celebrate.
I was thinking of how the TESV: Skyrim mod Holidays by isoku worked, where it would say on a leaflet when Harvest Fest would be, and I would plan my adventuring route to go to a city specifically to dance and drink and have fun.
This would mainly tie to RPers really but others could travel to the holiday locations for some fun.

There's loads of holidays based in lore, so there'd be many opportunities to travel from area to area to celebrate them with others.
So I feel like this could give a lot to the game for people who would enjoy this kind of thing. Would give people more to do and will bring you back to areas you've not been to for ages

The idea is that it wouldn't particularly encourage us all to celebrate these. No particular rewards or anything for going. Just there's a holiday in this location, maybe pop along to the party if you want to?

You can find a list of the holidays in lore here

    Great thread!

More skill morphs - the choice between a stam/mag morph has no depth, more morphs allows more interesting builds.

Cutscenes/animations - the trailers make it clear you can use in-game graphics to tell parts of stories, but this is rarely used in game. Cutscenes can be skipped, but they give atmosphere and who doesn't like to see their character interacting with the story.

Equipment/skill loadouts - switch between your meta build and your fun build so you can do endgame AND solo content on the same character.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

How about..NEW PVP ZONE (s). There's a reason why DAoC's RVR was the best player vs player environment which many games tried to emulate in some fashions but missed the point of the different Home Realms being on different servers for various well thought out reasons.

Our PVP borrows from it heavily obviously but puts too many people in one area too often.

P.S. - Plus we don't have level 75 Frost Stallions to enslave by Enchanter characters and drag around the PVP zone. Sure at times the Enchanter would lose control of them and they would eat your group lol. High Risk and Reward lol.

Enchanters...mmm 9 second stun lol. Most OP thing ever. Still pissed about the Left Axe Nerf.

I digress, I'm here now and Mark Jacobs let that game die. (Sold it to EA and you know what they do to Studios...) ESO is still here, Now. Though I wonder what Zos is attempting. Normally I have some confidence in the forward view 6 months out. Now... 🤔

    P.P.S. - ZOS / Bethesda - Dont sell this game to EA!!!!...Ever That's a start.

    Housing:
Increase limit on big houses from 700/700 to 1000/1000

    Trials:
Group finder for normal trials, make it more accesable.
Contrary to popular belief normal trials are quite easy for the most part.

    Fix performance

    Dungeons:
    Fix performance issues and desynch

    Role:
This is controversial - decrease self heal potency and increase restoration staff heal potency to make healers more relevant

    Overland:
Vet mode for overland content, give us an option to make questing more challenging

    Fishing
Give us a skill line we can upgrade to make fishing more fun - like when you level up scrying.

    PVP:
I still want my 1v1 and 2v2 gladiator arena I can que for.

Housing: Increase the slots for the bigger houses, cant really use them in full/limits what we can do. The pathing is a step in the right direction to making them more alive.

Trials: get all the bugs out of them! should be able to see all AOE's etc and taunts should work etc. Also add some different mecs to it.

Fix performance Don't need to add anything there.

Dungeons: All old base game dungeons should all have a version two, some dont, would be good to add these would spice up old dungeon content. Add the new HM flag to all dungeons, much easier and nicer if all dungeons were the same. Also maybe have a Legendary mode which is harder than vet. The ones we got this year in DLC content were fantasic, more like this please :)

Role: All classes should be able to do all roles and succeed in it on a end game lvl, do agree some classes should be better that others in certain areas, but not cool if wanna get achivements on a character and my class-role is blocking me from doing it becuase the player base has ruled it out cas it is not viable.

Overland: Have a toggle for easy or hard mode. Would please everyone. Plus base game zones need a makeover. It really gives me an eye twitch that in Summerset you ahve this amazing landscape and Alter ruins, and on the base game island it feels completely seperate, where it is the same land in the lore.

Fishing More rewards for doing this content, not much in it really.

PVP: More battleground maps and types....maybe a maze/race type where you have to get to a target 1st. Also cryodill, add more daedric weapons and make the different keeps feel different the copy and paste layouts are old.

Questing: More indepth into the lore of Elder Scrolls universe would be cool, also seem to be getting into a copy and paste with main quests with new chapters. Next one needs to be different.

    Just my two cents. :)
