What is your favorite Faction out of the 3?

I'm still undecided. I've been running around on Daggerfall and it's been OK. The starter islands were fun, especially the first one with the pirate theme.
I really enjoyed AD - the landscape was stunning and just had a nice feel to it. But gathering nodes for tradeskills were much easier to spot in Daggerfall.
Then I tried Ebonheart Pact - I enjoyed the theme of the lands. Snowy areas are always my favorite areas in MMORPGS. I also heavily like to play a nordish race.
My main faction so far has been DF - but man at times the zone chat there in the main city can get so very childish. Prelaunch the general consensus seemed to be the kids/skyrim fans would head to EP..but it can't be as bad as DF zone chat - and we know how prelaunch assumptions turn out.
I'm heavily leading toward making AD my main faction, and honestly it might be my favorite - the queen was pretty cool.

Seraseth✭✭✭✭I really enjoy daggerfall and aldmeri but I'm definitely meh on ebonheart. I play that character mainly for the runes, they seem more plentiful over there for some reason.1 -
Valmond✭✭✭Started as Daggerfall Covenant, going through Aldmeri Dominions last zone now as veteran.
And so far i'd say i prefer Daggerfall.
Haven't seen Ebonheart much yet, but purely from races/lore standpoint, they would have been my go to faction if guild had not voted for Daggerfall (mainly for the Dunmer).1 -

Traisa✭✭✭Daggerfall Covenant, I've pretty much abandoned my AD and EP characters. I also didn't like how horrible the EP make the Covenant out to be.1 -

Zewks✭✭✭My knowledge on ES lore is somewhat lacking. Trying to explain the differences between the 3 factions to friends starting the game, aside from the races you can pick, has proven to be a real task. Simply put, there doesnt seem to be any info about the 3 factions when you are starting the game, to let you know what you are signing away your characters life to.
Anyone know a site or resource that really goes into describing each faction, what their goals, motivations, history, reasons for conflict, government system, etc are?0 -
Chili✭✭My "main" is Daggerfall. My friends and I decided on it after playing the beta on all the factions because the quests, lore and landscape seemed more enjoyable.
With that said, we also have "alts" on the other factions as well because we want to experience the entire game so we switch which characters we feel like playing on a daily basis and switch often between the 3 according to our mood an which class we want to progress with.
Now with that in mind, my main alt that I play solo is also Daggerfall because I already know the lore and can spam through dialog and know where I need to go to find the out of the way rewards without having to re-explore the whole map again.0 -

AD - arrogant elven supremacists. How they duped the Khajiit into joining them I'll never know. Not nearly as bad as in Skyrim, sure, but still...
DC - arrogant human supremacists. At least they sort of have the right idea - that the main advantage of an empire is that order is good for trade. Still, you would think the Orcs might have more sense than to provide muscle for them.
EP - a ragtag bunch of misfits who have no idea what they're for - only what they're against (elven/human supremacy). I have a bit more respect for them than the other factions, but still... 1 -

Awesome, I was thinking of making all 3 factions to see the whole story as well. But I was told the other day that we actually get to do all the faction's complete stories once we hit Veteran content. So no matter what, you will see the whole story, even if you only ever play one character.

Misfits! That's the exact word. My main is Dark Elf and I love that these three groups who so don't get along ever have teamed up basically because there's no one else. They're the kids no one picks for dodgeball.1
