(HELP!) Don't start last quest in main line.

My lvl50. I finished Fighter Guild and Mages Guild.
After "Council of the Five Companions" my game in main quest's line is end. I don't get the last quest. (I don't get a quest near the city too)

What is the problem?

Try going to the Harborage and talking with everyone. Clear out any outstanding conversations.

Go into Cyrodiil, play a bit, leave. The Prophet might make an appearance.

He appeared to me outside of the Cathedral in the Hollow City after I had won the 'war' part of the main quest. Have you completed that?

If not then you may have to talk to the Groundskeeper to say you are ready to do that. Then win the war....it wasn't too hard for me and I'm not a tank. When you win you should be transported back to the Cathedral and when you step outside voila.

I know this might all seem obvious and you've already tried it, but you don't give much to go on.

Ran into a similar situation..

I was level 46 or 47 when I entered Coldharbour, and hadn't finished the council of the five companions. Got to level VR1 before I finished the five companions quest. Apparently not the way it's supposed to go.

While I was leveling in Coldharbor (not by doing quests), I got a random update "Restore the Hollow City" which is the last step of the The Army of Meridia quest. This last update came before the first two steps were completed.

So I was in limbo. Couldn't finish the first two steps. Had to abandon The Army of Meridia, then go to the front of the Chapel of Light in the Hollow City, talk to the Groundskeeper, get the quest again, and proceed from there.
