Hey all I've got a question about how to progress with gear.
For example, I've to use Relequen set. I did a normal Cloudrest run and I got a couple of the Relequen gear, but it's green. Should I upgrade it via crafting? Or, do I wait until I can do Veteran Cloudrest and get the best drops? Which way is better/efficient?
You can farm normal and upgrade the gear
to purple or gold easily enough. You'll eventually want the perfected version but the normal is still great for dps.

Thanks man. The perfected gear drops from Veteran trials?

Yes, same system to get weapons and jewelry.
Note that the two versions are two sets so you can not mix them.
And yes upgrading gear is standard, its important to gold out weapons, the rest can just be purple as benefit of golding it is small unlike the weapons.

Yes, absolutely.
This is also why having all of the crafting skill lines maxed out (on any combination of your characters) is pretty much essential.
Especially since you always want to upgrade weapons to gold quality, but pretty much every source of weapon drops in the game can have no higher than purple quality.
Using the non-perfected sets is perfectly acceptable - and, in fact, desirable - as a form of progression, assuming that they are upgraded to at least purple quality (gold for weapons).
The difference between perfected and non-perfected versions is hardly the kind of thing that would make or break a build. At worst your performance will be a few % lower, and that's it.
You do not need to get the Perfected version, don't give yourself that much of a headache over a difference that isn't even significant. Do it on normal, collect your pieces, and upgrade them via crafting.
