Critical Damage capped?

If this was mentioned before, please, provide me with a link. My search did not bring anything usefull up.
Is it so that the critical damage modifier - not the chance to inflict crits, but the actual increase in damage - is capped at 99% by now?
I experimented around with the new Relentless Focus on my Stamblade, and it seems to not go beyond 99% in CombatMetrics, as well as in "real life" numbers ingame.
