Let’s see your creativity....DESIGN A FINAL DUNGEON BOSS!

So work is slow and sales are bad. So let’s have some fun. All the creative people out there, let’s design a final dungeon boss.
Not draw lol, design a fight (mechanics, arena, and Hard Mode)

Echolera
Arena: large circle with large mushrooms surrounding. Three pools on the edges.
Mechanics: Echolera focuses on disease damage, so a tank with high resistances will not help. She does not hit hard, but she hits a lot. The boss will primarily slash about frantically, and has a constant AoE surrounding her that causes Minor Defile to those who get too close. Randomly, adds will spawn from her (imagine a virus replicating) and will attack the group. Randomly, two large viral adds will spawn and slowly creep into the arena. If they are not dealt with quickly, they will explode and cause Major Defile and Major Maim to the group. The boss will Target one player and throw a large green ball (she will turn and face you). If you don’t Dodge it, you get sick and become stuck in the “sick emote” until another player synergizes the pool and brings the synergy to the player.
At execute range she enrages and kicks the wall and causes the big mushroom in the ceiling to fall, which explodes on the ground and causes Major Defile to the group until the end of the fight.
HARD MODE
“Echolera is said to be the mistress of death, but she loves her mushroom garden. Kick her big mushroom over and see what happens!”
1) The viral phages move faster, have more health, and if they reach the center, insta kill.
2) The ball she throws now drains resources as well as sickens the player
3) the mushroom mechanic is permanent throughout the fight.
4) Adds are more frequent
5) More HP
6) during execute phase, she kicks the wall and enrages. Instead of the mushroom falling, the pools will disappear if used

Helmet
(1 Piece) Add 4% Healing Taken
(2 Pieces) If got by an attack that brings you down to 25% Health, you launch a green ball at the attacker that explodes for 4000 Disease Damage and inflicts Major Defile to the attacker for 3 seconds. Enemies in a 3 m radius get affected with Minor Defile. This effect can only occur once ever 15s.

    Pre Nerfed Doshia

    That is all
Problem with Doshia was was all was low level with few skills and little experience using them then we fought her.
By the time I reached Coldharbor I had no issues with harvesters, drop AoE on ground and it will pop the balls.

It was also lots of confusion as we could not group dealing with her who was new outside the main quest.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    A huge Ogre named Fartholomeu

Jut dodge his farts, no one shot mechanics. Drops a helmet, but not a proc set.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Mount up and race the final boss instead of killing it. Maybe pick up some shells and banana peals along the way to cause some disabling effects. Perfect time now that Rapids is harder to get.

    ''Basin of Loss''

A basic vampire boss with a twist!

The boss is a vampire scion that has 3 special attacks:

    1) immobilzes the tank, and drinks their blood (which drains their health), this must be interrupted. The tank is defiled, and can't be healed for a few seconds after this attack--it also goes through shields, so the only way to counter-act it is to bash timely, and be toped up in terms of health.
    2) at random intervals, the boss will jump to one of two basins that are in the area, and drink blood from there: in the left basin, the drinking heals him and replenishes his health--this can be interrupted. In the right basin, the drinking gives him a damage shield, this shield must be broken for the boss to return from the basin phase
    3) the boss can turn around and throw a spell, carried by small flying bats, at a player (the tank is exempted if they have an active taunt). This spell turns the player to stone for a couple of seconds if they don't roll-dodge it (it can't be blocked), and they must break-free afterwards to release themselves. This is dangerous because of the extra mechanics in the fight:

    a) exsanguination: at certain times, the boss summons coagulants in the room, and these must be killed fast. They spawn red moving circles on the ground that perform 'exsanguination' on players, whereby they drain their health, and put a defile on them. If a player is stoned and a circles passes under their feet, they are in danger of wiping.
    b) basin of loss: after 50% of the boss' health, the two basins that the boss can drink from, overflow, and randomly pour on the floor, creating cross-shaped 'blood fountains', at different angles each time, that burst from the ground, and can one-shot a player if they don't block the initial hit, and then move out. In hard mode, these come with rapid frequency after 25% of the boss' health (at execute). Also, during hard mode, the stone spell cannot be roll-dodged, and there are more coagulant adds, plus the shield and healing the boss gets from the basin phases is increased, compared to vet.

    No ignoring taunt.
    No one shots.
No zero or crazy short telegraphs before significant attacks.
No need to watch a vid until your head hurts trying to learn stupid obtuse mechanics.
Several seconds of red spike warning when winding up any magic attack.
Several seconds of white spike warning when winding up a heavy attack.
When putting red on the ground, adequate time to see and react out of the red before it goes off.

I only run bosses that pass all that. . . meaning I basically boycott DLC dungeons.
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Big room, boss in the middle. Group engages, he tosses a coin.
    Heads up = Boss dies
    Tails up = wipe

    The end.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Occasionally stuns & dots everyone who have to desperately attempt break free until success or ded. Constantly calls adds which wander around confused and do nothing else and can not be interacted with. When there is enough adds instance crashes and boots everyone.

Obviously it should have light attack weaving and bash cancellation so players will just suddenly die without knowing what hit them until they look at the death recap.

Big troll named Lag-o with attacks that represents technical issues of game:
    * AEO Ping attack - longer you stay in red area, the higher ping you get
    * one-shot offline attack - you must avoid it at all cost. If get hit, your game crash to desktop, if you blocked you will be only logout
    * lag-rage - at 60% and 20% HP boss rages and makes enormous lag for whole game for 20 seconds
    * skills blockade - every time you are damaged by boss, your next skill have 50% chance to not fire

In room with boss will be two special doors. First one teleports you to crown store and this not help with fight but you can buy cosmetics and looks fancy. Second one gives you rage quit by quiting the game.

Sorry, I can't resist with topic like this :D

The dungeon is one of the smaller island on Lake Rumare, but blown up to more realistic proportions. With the Alliance War still going on, the fortification on the island is under siege from all three sides. You've been commissioned by some faction to retrieve a dangerous McGuffin of some type or another before it can fall into the hands of one of the alliances and destroy Cyrodiil/Tamriel/Nirn/Everyone's left shoe.

The first three bosses are some important general of each alliance, aided by hordes of their allies. They all escape before their final defeat. The final boss is all three previous bosses at once, fighting you and each other for control of the central plot object.

Final fight is rotating phases of you fighting one of the bosses while the other two duke it out along the exterior of the room, their AoE attacks partially blocked by the surrounding structures. All three have to die within 10-ish seconds of each other or they enrage. In hardmode, the structures are gone and you have to position the boss you're fighting between you and the AoEs as the only mitigation. Additionally, the plot object is revealed, and if any of the bosses are able to grab it, it's a room/dungeon/world wipe, whatever provides the better motivation. To interrupt, one has to have a damage shield taken down before the animation completes, another pushes you to edge of the room and slows but can be interrupted normally, and the last one can be interrupted normally but will 1-shot the interrupter as vengeance unless they time a roll dodge.

A Giant Dwarven Colossus called *Continuum*

    the arena.:
Dwarven ruin exterior. Two tower, three smaller ruin, some water and some tree. The destroyed buildings have modeled floors. 2-3.
There is a high ground like area from where you can see the entire arena. the boss is in the middle.

    the fight:
Players will need to defeat Fabricants, take soulgems to fabricators, damage the boss’ weak points, damage the boss, and then match up with players of similar buffs. Overall, the boss fight is relatively easy and players will be dealing an incredible amount of damage, though a lot of communication is necessary.

    1. Encounter the boss. watch him turning on.
    2. Send one player to deal with the Fabricants
    3. One player dealing with the weak points of the boss. ]Arms[ (boss is untouchable while shield is up)
    4. One player taking the soulgem to the fabricator which will fabricate/generate an orb.
    5. While everything attacking you. one player takes the orb to the Deshielder Regulator.
    6. Once the shield is down. Players can start attacking him
    7. Upon reaching 80% of his HP, boss will apply a debuff on the players.
    8. To take off the debuff players must stand together. (if two different debuff close too eachother. instadeath)
    9. Upon correct positions the players gets overcharged and dmging more.
    10. Around 40% boss will get back his shield and generate new arms from the fabricator.
    11. Repeat step 2-6.
    12. Kill the boss.

    Loot:
    - Fabricant Bow - chain attacking. ability do dmg 2-3 enemy at once.
    - Fabricant Stave - ditto
    - Fabricant Shield - Deflect 30% dmg back to the enemy. (50% chance)
    - Sword, Axe, Dagger - ?

    A wood elf bandit leader.
    - The bandit's detection radius is increased by 6 m.
    - She goes into stealth every 30 seconds to ambush a player.
    - Before actually reaching her target, she drops out of stealth, screaming something about bloody Khajits and "nurfs".
    - Against heavy attacks, she uses dodge roll. After dodge rolling, she gets a bonus to armor penetration. This can be countered by simply blocking after her dodge roll.

She drops parts of the Flavor of the Month set:
2 pieces: +1096 to stamina in even months, +1096 mana in uneven months.
3 pieces: When dealing direct damage, you have a 25% chance to get 300 weapon and spell damage for damage over time skills.
4 pieces: When dealing damage over time, you have a 25% chance to get a 50% nerf to area of effect skills.
5 pieces: When only grouped with members of the same class, your ability costs are reduced by 50%.
