Interesting mechanics that people usually don't know/follow

    2nd boss in MoS, nobody actually know what its mechanics are (kill colored Lurchers on colored circles then synergy for shield), everybody just burn it before it explode.
    3rd boss in MoS, you can roll dodge into the tornadoes and they dont do damage as opposed to blocking them

    You can skip nearly all trash pulls in Mazzatun by sneaking between them
    Spheres in Discoball centurion boss in Forstvault can be instakilled by the small rolling bombs
    Spheres in Stonekeeper fight can be pushed off ledge with any knockback skill. You get achievment for it.

    In Cloudrest, when someone has Hoarfrost and Galenwe doing his channel, getting hit by the ice dispells the Hoarfrost
    In Cloudrest, shades of dead players counts as players for Roaring Flare to divide the damage along. You can survive hugging the shades if for some reason you are too far away from the group. Doing so also instakills the shades.
    Portal cone in CR (Shifting Shadows) can be blocked, but you will be instakilled if you have portal debuff.

    Well if you not pulling him out and fight in the arena, there are a lot of fiery and icy tornados that chasing someone. You need to block or, as previously said, dodge it, to avoid oneshot. Also there's a lot of adds that need to be killed.

    The damage from the tremors of the deadroth boss in CoA2 can be avoided entirely if you jump at the right times.

    In DLC dungeons, some mobs can one shot almost everyone including tank. Tanks usually hold block and soak up the damage. Healers and damage dealers usually end up dead if they try to block these attacks. To avoid the one shot attacks, players can dodge roll these attacks.


    Also, some mobs and sometimes bosses do channel attacks, if not interupted, it could in one shot mechanic or group wipes. To prevent these types of attacks, players only need to interupt these channel attacks/spells by either bashing or casting interupt skill.

    The trick to the fight is controlled DPS. Once you master that then you can easily solo the dungeon. When a player dies, its usually a) DPS pushed triggers the tether == dead player or b) DPS kills it fast enough where the mechanic doesn't activate. The tether is random, so its out of the tanks control.

    Ok, so time for some more interesting tank mechanics. This time I will go over last boss in unhollowed grave. The ghosty hand~~~ ghosty hand comes up when he doesn't use any skills for approx 10 seconds (the amount of time it takes him to use 5th light attack in a row, sounds familiar?) Plz be careful though it is time based not light attack count based, so if his previous skill animation is long, or you moved, he might cast smelly hand earlier, like, instead of 4th light attack, or if you really try to drag him all over the place, even as his first attack that will reach you.

    If you have the "Lazy writ crafter" addon, you can just premade a bunch of potion/poison/food/drink that are need for the writs (there're like 10 of those in total), then just put them all in your bank. When you have the daily writs, just come and talk to the banker, you'll instantly withdraw the necessary items needed. You no longer need to craft individual items for the alchemist and provision writs.

    Harrowstorms: A lot of people don't seem to know that you don't have to kite trash mobs around the perimeter while you wait for people who know what they're doing to show up. You can actually drop DOTs on the Witch Pikes and then kill the Lost Souls to make actual progress toward beating the thing.

    Don't know how many of those I've rode up to where there are 10+ people running around in circles while all three pikes are still up with 100% health.

    Apparently I did. I forgot that that was even a boss. It dies in like 5 seconds. XD yeah the foreman dude in the room full of adds that you have to kill first.

    Touching the inhibator thing in the middle of the arena cuases the boss to super aggro[as in taunts can't bypass it] onto the one who touched it..it also casues them to slowly, but steadly stack up a debuff [i think it's called heat stroke] which slows your ass down and reduces the damage you do...has a stack limit of 30 [i think] but it used to have no stack limit and would eventually reach a point where you would be unable to move, when somebody else touches the inhabitor boss goes after them and the debuff starts falling off you at roughly the same rate they stacked on.

    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    In my experience, almost everyone that can complete vet Tempest Island does that mechanic properly.

    I had to solo this boss once because no one in group was able to understand it :/
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    You have to have better DPS than I do on my healers to do that. The number of interrupting storm clouds increases over time and eventually they get to a point where you can't reliably move in and out of range anymore. I guess that's another mechanic lots of people don't know.
