Still no update, not even a holding message or reply to my last email sent on the 27th July.

barswap rng: it's been a feature for many years now and it's only gotten better and more pronounced and capricious with time.

Thank you so much, my main was unable to rez anybody in Cyro for ages now and I couldn't find any info relating to this bug. I recently had the one where I couldn't bar swap and can confirm this occurs when you invest 445+ skillpoints. Even weirder, investing skillpoints into one tree (above 445) starts removing them from your other trees

@Zos, this is a real bug that simply destroys a character's ability to play the game. Given the feedback to date, it may not be particularly difficult to determine the source of the bug. Please look into this. Both an inability to rez other players (in both pve and pvp) and an inability to swap bars can lock in perpetuity (they are locked in sequence - appears to be inability to rez first, and then with another skill point an inability to swap bars) when skill points used are in the 445+ range. I have put in 3 requests (bug report, customer support, etc.) with no meaningful client service response. Please let us know you are looking into this, or at least advise all players not to use more than 444 skill points (or whatever the bug threshold is) until this is resolved. Resetting all of your skill points appears to be the only fix. Thank you.

I agree, there must be another trigger that causes it. I believe it is something to do with scrying but can't put my finger on it as to what. It may have been simply the date when we did the scrying quest initially as there seemed to be a lot of other bugs at the same time. Was pretty early on when Greymoor came out myself.

Must be something with excavation skill line that triggers it

I can confirm this is not the case. I have not maxed any of my characters out on scrying and excavation and and have had the issue. It may be wgen you apply one of the particular skills within the scrying or excavation skill line though.

Had this issue multiple times yesterday. Fighting WBs and my bar would not swap despite my hitting the button 3-5 times. It isn't consistent though, sometimes the bar swaps fine, and I did check my latency at the time. It's hit or miss really.

Editing to add, the toon in question is a vampire with the antiquities lines maxed out.

I think this is true as well. The bug has occurred on my only character with max antiquity skill lines.

My main (tons of skill points, maxed out in pretty much every skill line) was just hit with this as well. Could not res, unable to swap bars. Gear changes, stripping naked, suicide by "Leeroy Jenkins" or /reloadui did not help. Relogging in the middle of the dungeon seems to have fixed it for now, though.

On a side note, the update that was supposed to reduce the character load times seems to have had the opposite effect for me. Relogging now takes significantly longer than it did a week ago.

I know it is a big ask, but can you try and get another character leveled up to 4/5 antiquarian insight in scrying and excavation? After doing this myself it seems to have some sort of affect on my other character, removing the problem.
For me I am convinced it is when we started the skill lines in our main character that has caused it to glitch. If you level up another character from now, the problem goes away.
I may be wrong, hence why I want someone else to try it but I think it is when you apply the 3/5 antiquarian insight that breaks it, but applying 4/5 antiquarian insight on another character fixes it for the whole account (and therefore on the main character).

A good idea, but I just 'fixed' the issue with the skill points reset. If I have time this weekend I will see if the bug re-emerges when I hit 455+ skill points use, and go from there...

After more testing it seems to be the excavation skill line : Trowel + Excavation reserves. When I put points in them the bar swap bug happens and cant rez ppl.
All this after the 455+ skill points use
