Healing Mage Set - What is the debuff name?

Does anyone know the debuff name of the Healing Mage 5-piece set proc (aka Mending), to check up time on Combat Metrics?
https://eso-sets.com/set/healing-mage

I have been looking for it, but it is not evident to me which it might be.

In Combat Metrics, under "(De)Buffs Out", it's called "Healing Mage".

    It's, surprise surprise, Healing Mage.

While this was easy, its not always so obvious. For example Alkosh shows as two: Roar of Alkosh is a dot. Line-Breaker is the armor shred.

Reducing damage would be Maim, but that's by a %, not a fixed amount, I think.

"(5 items) When you use an area of effect heal ability, you reduce the Weapon Damage and Spell Damage of all enemies within 10 meters of you by 286 for 5 seconds."

This reminds me of the Weakening Enchantment, which at max rank and legendary quality reduces the target's weapon damage by 348

The minor and major Maim debuffs reduce enemy damage by 15% and 30% respectively.

Yeah, it is not Maim for sure. It is a unique debuff, like Alkosh's, but this one is not evident to identify. Thanks!

Well, Weakening glyph proc does show among the debuffs in Combat Metrics - I wonder if Mending 5-set proc's debuff is included with Weakening? I'd have to try without a weakening glyph in any weapon, but it is a possibility.

It isn't any of the Maims, of that I'm certain.

    Thanks!

Strange... that doesn't show on mine. I do have a "Healing Bane" though, but the icon is the same as the NB Shade. Perhaps it is that one? I have no "Healing Mage" as shown on that screenshot.

    Did you apply the debuff?
You need to be reasonably close to the target, and you need to use an "AoE healing ability" (Healing Springs or Combat Prayer work for testing) on the enemy, there should be some blue-ish effect. Not sure why it wouldn't show up otherwise.

I'll test again, thanks. So there is a visual effect for Healing Mage/Mending?

Does this debuff (and the Weakening enchantment, assuming that they both work the same way) apply to base Weapon/Spell Damage or buffed Weapon-Spell Damage?

It doesn't matter for PvE but for PvP having it apply to base damage would be far more powerful.

    Unfortunately not, @YandereGirlfriend ... it's subtractive only.

So, if you apply Major Brutality (Sorcery) and other modifiers the enemy has, the debuff only gets reduced from the end result.

Not too exciting for PvE and maybe luke warm for PvP (where zergs are running around).

Could be a good idea to improve the set, though, if healers/support players want to lobby ZOS for it ...

Pink/Purple cloud around target, the same effect as your staff glow when swapped to. Also the same effect as Infallible Aether.

As can be seen below, with a test dummy, I get Healing Bane, which seems to be the debuff from Mending:
    Screenshot-20200902-132113.png

@robpr I do confirm that the target gets the pink visuals equivalent to Infallible Aether.

Now, it is strange that you get "Healing Mage" and I get "Healing Bane"... I don't understand.
In any case, now I know how to check the up-time and effects of this unique debuff, which stacks with Weakening glyph and both of the Maims.
