What happens to transmute stones if you are maxed out?

By the end of the current cyrodiil campaign I'll likely be maxed out on transmute stones for the first time. I've hit the tier reward mark so will receive 50 transmute stones at the end - if I'm max, what happens? I don't think I've got anything that currently requires transmutation.

    either leave it in the mail or take it out. you get a crystal that holds the 50 stones, as long as you don't break it, it will stay in your inventory, ready to be opened and only then will you recieve the 50 stones to your currency.

    You just can't use the geode... I would recommend making sure you actually are maxed out, because using a 50 transmute crystal when you are 199/200 will make you lose 49 transmutes, while if you are 200/200, it won't let you use it.

    In adition to what already has been sayd; if you want o get rid of the geodes because hey take too much inventoryspace, you can craft iron daggers, transmute them to nirnhoned and deconstruct them to sell the nirn.

    I always tend to open the blue and purples first, as they hold smaller amounts so you can really free up some space if you're holding a lot of these. Keep the 50-count nodes as currency, so to speak, as these only take up one inventory slot and can transmute an item right away if needed.
