Music boxes: annoying pling plong loop

Flickering Shadows is unbearable. Blood and Glory is slightly better. Don't buy this endless loop of annoying sound.

    Seriously, the music lasts for about 15-20 sec and then keep repeating itself. Try having 8 toons doing writs while listening to Flickering Shadows. It's worse than elevator music.

    Protip: you can listen to the song when you preview music boxes in the Crown Store before purchase, thus saving you from buying an item you apparently do not know how to shut off, which would resolve your entire annoyance.

    The Merry Meadmaker has a very pleasant pling plong loop.
    Aldmeri Symphonia on the other hand creeps me out

    I only bought the two music boxes in the crown store now. I was not aware that other boxes exist. But any music in a 15-20 sec loop quickly gets irritating, imo. I like the default music of ESO :)

    I like Flickering Shadows, it's on my top ten. I bang that on and it's party time round mine. The Aldmeri Symphonia though, that's pants. Utter rubbish. Saw them live once, they lip-synced the whole thing. Trash.

    I want a 3 sec music box, with a one hour pause with dramatic silence, before the next 3 sec of amazing pling plong. I pay heavy for that in the crown store :)

    Yeah yeah, everything from holytropic breathwork to ayahuasca, but dang, my pling plong phobia just keep repeating itself, in a loop.

    And turn it off? I paid 1600 precious crowns for these music machines. So, well, how can I turn it off? No way :)

    OP did you know the music boxes are classified as sound effects? You can turn the effects down to 0 and then the normal game music will kick back on since nothing is playing.
