I wish this COULD be an option in your poll OP:

None of them, Buy Items Directly

Get rid of scummy gambling crates altogether and just let me buy items outright for crowns, period. I would spend so much more in the Crown Store if this were the case. If I want to spend hundreds in their store, it is going to be a guarantee instead of a gamble. I have not and never will buy a single crate.

Off the top, there are at least 20 Items from these themes I would like to buy directly:
Hollowjack, Reaper's Harvest, Scalecaller are some my favorites.

On a side note, there sure are quite a few "sales" going on in the Crown Store lately and that says something. Imho seems a lack of something else not being high enough and they have to make up for losses somewhere...speculation ofc. ;)

I'd love if they made everything from the crates buyable outright. I love to deal with cosmetics, but I hate having to gamble with things I don't want just to get something I do.

But I'm also not going to pretend that banning crates is magically going to make them just put all of these things in the store outright.

Belgium has banned lootbox mechanics and crates. That means that any players from Belgium are now unable, in any way, to get the cosmetics from crates. And because most of the new cosmetics (and the old things they finally bring back after all this time) end up in crates, that means that players in an entire country are now shut off from getting what they could want at all.

I think the store could be better without crates and having everything up for direct sale instead. But I also realize that the crates are by far their best monetization scheme and that's why we still have them. My biggest request would be to rotate the main store more and not funnel everything to the crates. I'd also like if they would release some of their older or PTS-only things instead of letting them sit on a virtual shelf making no money.

That point about Belgium is something I have been saying for a while.

I doubt those items will just be sold instead. It'll be goodbye to them, forever, along the same lines as the original loyalty scheme items.

People need to seriously consider more deeply the ramifications of their desires, as it's not all plus-points.

That fault lies with the company for not selling those items after the crates were banned. Quit trying to shift blame onto the consumers, those that are being taken advantage of. The only bad guy here is the seller of crates.

All they want is about a grand from each of you.

But because only 10 percent of us spend money on the game, (outside of the craft bag)

We get this system that will once in a while will grossly rip you off, making you want to take the matter to court.. Or quickly reward you... making you think they felt bad for your loss and manually chose you as the winner today.

If you stop right at the Rip Off part, you will never know that sometimes it does give you what you want without paying a stupid amount of money.

That said, if it was MY game, I would make the system like this:

    Call it the "Store"

And just have real world prices. NO playing games. No BS. You get what you pay for, period.

A gigantor house should be 75 dollars maximum.
    Large: 50
    Medium 25
    Small 10

A Radient Apex mount: 50 dollars
    An Apex Mount: 40 dollars
    Regular Mount: 20
    Costumes: 15
    Pets 10
Furniture Set with Reasonable amount of things: 20
Furniture Set with Basic amount of things: 10
    HouseGuests: 15
Services: 10 (char slot, race change, makeover)
    Name Change: 15
    Outfit Slot: 5

It should not matter how pretty something is.

And everything that's ever been on the store STAYS on the store until the game dies.

    That's it, that's all.
