Since they nerfed the Templar (again) I want to try my hands on another DPS class.

Which is the strongest right now?

Followup question, which has the best spammable?

Play what you like the most. No point chasing meta. Nerfs happen every patch and you will cry again later. All classes are very close and capable in every content.

Well to give an answer pertaining to the question at hand, by ESO logs it seems that Magcro, Magsorc and MagDK are on the top of the DPS scores.

I genuinely don't care what's best, I like playing stamblade which is still fun at least and have a solid spammable that's not the best one in the game, but it works. Fun is more important than chasing BiS as far as classes go to me, having a play style you like and is comfortable with matters more than BiS.

I have a mag sorc that I farm with sometimes, it's a lot easier to play, but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as my stamblade with a rotation designed by Sheogorath.

Mag blade at the moment. It's really good, and should stay like that, the changes are cool.

Keep in mind i am not saying that mag blade should always be the best, but rather that these changes should stay unnerfed.

Mag blade has everything that a good class should ask for, good damage, good sustain, nice abilities, good passives.

It should be a template for other classes to follow on what a class should be able to do.

    ^^^ My thoughts, exactly.

So...you are asking to play the class they are most likely to nerf next? It would be a better bet to aim for #2 or #3, you would get more life out of the build before they nerf it too

Note, didn't vote because there wasn't a "depends". Your poll is invalid in my opinion. Ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers. Strong dps is dependent on many factors, all of which were not defined as poll parameters, factors such as "what content are you running" and "how comfortable are you with the class."

I see a lot of people recommending magblades and they are right they will be strong next patch. Many end game trial teams will be asking for multiples of them. But that doesn't mean that it's right for you. If you can't get the rotation down, then it really won't be the strongest class for you. If you are only running overland content then it doesn't really matter. If you're a dungeons only kind of person then most classes are viable

Try a few classes and see what you like. That way you can discover what's strong for you.
