There is plenty of gear set feedback from the last six (6) weeks on PTS, @Grandchamp1989.

I’m afraid your wishes of “one set to rule them all” doesn’t work across the board for all classes and playstyles.

Medusa went from being completely unused to possibly having a place in high-end builds.

Medusa and non-crit proc sets with the p2w ring.

Briarheart heart is reliable now, but it's never been that difficult to proc.

Purge sets look good on paper but I don't know if they're actually any good.

wear as many damaging proc sets as possible seems to be the go, then you can have more health and not doing anything except satisfy the proc conditions. easy.

Sword singer seems to have really improved. I have it on a sorc I'm levelling simply because I found enough bits and the much higher damage add (600 v 400) seems to make a difference.

I'm still trying to work out if the Blessed Meridia change is good or bad. You used to be able to use it block target the heavy hitter and keep them off your back for 5 seconds whilst you pasted the trash, then switch back for 5. Now it's a much more generic 5 second holiday every 25. Much less useful for solo than it was so I may play with thunderbug, which is now a lot more predictable as a free AoE attack.

How in the world is hollowfang a winner? The only changes it received were nerfs (reduced magicka restored, only affects group members).

I haven't specifically looked up the others on your list, but the presence of hollowfang calls your whole methodology into question.

That said, Lamia and Medusa are certainly both winners (especially Medusa), so you'll probably find a lot of people farming Arx Corinium.

@the1andonlyskwex you are right. I quickly jotted down this list from some scraps I had noted about sets I needed to get because of these changes. After watching Alcast's 2 1/2 hour video I had a bunch of notes, Hollowfang was actually a set I had written down at the bottom as a reminder that I needed to collect it, as it was fantastic despite the nerf but my messy notes led to this mistake. I'll edit my list now, thanks.

So that was what was wrong with my methodology and that is all I have to say about Vietnam.

Master Architect and War Machine are better now. It gives Major Slayer to more people now and it lasts longer, too, depending on how much Ultimate was spent.

War Maiden got made even more sexy, which is excellent cos I was already using it on one of my magblades.

Medusa got pimped to hell.

Lamia also got love and seems usable now.

Ive not checked any patch notes, but thats the word on the street.

This build was created as a 'Tank Tease' - one of out Guildies was ranting about Maw before she went on holiday so three of us have made this build to group with her when she gets back (without telling her of course)

In the meantime Ive been soloing dungeons and is surprisingly effective and. more importantly. a real laugh1

I am loving the ability to actually control the Imperium proc now. I used it to great effect last night pugging vCT...and now, with Imperium proc being controllable via bar-swapping, it allows me to run an arena weapon set front bar...its great, pretty much gave my tank an extra set.
