Lolwat? Scammers shouldn't be punished? You literally think it's okay for people to be scammed, and that it's morally okay for it to happen to people? Sorry to say but that sort of sounds like something someone would say if they're the ones doing it and are afraid they might get reported and in trouble for it. Yes, scammers 100% should be punished. If you're going to try and take advantage of people for your own gain you had best well be prepared to accept the consequences of what you do. Remember, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.IneedaDollar wrote: »I dont know tbh but if i would be Zenimax i wouldnt do it.
Gifting Crown Store items isnt meant to be used for Gold exchange. If it would be there would an ingame option to do it.
Its meant to be used for gifts.
If people decide to make such trades its not Zenimax business.
I even know some people who roleplay "scammer characters" (although they dont scam for stuff like crowns)
Scamming in general shouldnt be punished except if it goes as far as stealing accounts.
Wait, are you saying if a person you give gold to to have them buy you something from the CS has a chargeback done, that you can get in trouble for it as well? Because I'm fairly sure that's not the case; you can't really be punished for something someone else did that's completely out of your control and that you have no idea could be a thing. The only one who gets punished is the person doing the chargeback, not anyone who buys something from that account. I mean sure, you could argue that the person buying the Crowns is an alt account trying to 'launder' those items so to speak, but that would happen so infrequently that I can't see it being standard practice to punish everyone who buys something from an account that has a chargeback done. Especially seeing how many people 'buy' CS stuff with gold.Even if you don’t get scammed right away, you have to worry whether the random person you are buying from is a gold seller who uses stolen credit cards to buy crowns. They do this all the time with game keys in certain sites, now crown trading makes monetizing stolen cards even easier. If a chargeback is made on those crowns you buy, you risk your whole account.
Don’t buy from random players you don’t know. Losing gold is the least of the things that could go wrong.
Scamming is a crime !

NEVER trust anyone one the internet you don't know.
If someone is stupid enough to ignore that it's there mistake.
Scammers are just there because people allow them to be.
Blame the system not the scammer
