I’m returning to the game after a solid 2 years away - I’ve just bought all the chapters that have released since then. I must say, kudos to ZOS for the faithful recreation of Solitude, and the general expansion of the game! It looks amazing. I’m so excited to get back into it
I’m generally a 75/25 PVP/PVE player, I love my competitive PVP, and I ADORED the ESO PVP experience. Open-world Cyrodiil, BGS especially, and evening duels as well! Mag DK ftw, by the way
To that end - I am someone who pushed HARD for alliance change tokens, and alliance lock on PVP, I mean, heaps. I’m so affirmed they both occurred during my absence.
Upon my return, I’d like to join the alliance struggling the most, for players. I play on NA XB1, though in my experience, while there are ebbs and flows of population differing across all platforms and servers, they are relatively similar, in that, EP tends to have the most players, followed by AD and then DC, though DC tends to have more skilled players than AD, especially streamers.
So, in the current standing of the game, who would you say is the most populous alliance in the game? I plan to join the alliance with the LEAST votes in 2 days time.

✭✭✭✭✭I’m not sure it’s worth the time or frustration to get back into open world PVP in this game at the moment, especially on console — not unless you want to spend your free time crashing, experiencing three second skill delays in prime time, experiencing ten second skill delays/not being able to bar swap after gap-closing, hitting even more load screens than ever before in the middle of combat or just while generally riding around, etc.Edited by Aurielle on August 15, 2020 11:45AM2 -

EP dominates Grayhost for the most part; but thats also a faction lock campaign.
Or simply visit other campaigns and you find players removing scrolls from one facfion and walking them to their friends alliance gate (happened in late July 2020) or faction hop to ride any groups effort to collect AP from their PVP efforts;
Sometimes you come across small 4 man premades but they usually get squashed by other groups; some are good but soon fall too. You find those more in Imperial City where the fights are usually smaller, and you have more terrain options to pick your engagement.
PvP ESO server performance is poor; So expect players to land massive damage fast, dysync your health bar for a sudden death without notice.. Or encounter load screens and return to game dead - someone got an AFK kill... or back at the home base.

They are talking about how bad the performance in Cyrodiil has gotten since you last played.
Alliance population depends on the time of day and really carries across time.0 -

This is not accurate. The topic creator is talking about Xbox NA - the campaign with the highest population is gray host, the alliance that has won the last two and has a huge lead in the current campaign is DC (32,000, the next closest alliance has 19,000). I play exclusively AD so it has been painfully clear that blue has a higher pop at nearly every time of day..0
