Buff Dark Cloak back to pre-Elsweyr in exchange for loss of mitgation for NB tanks.

Prior to Elsweyr, NB tanks had some of the most solid self-heals in the form Dark Cloak. In Elsweyr, Dark Cloak got nerfed to essentially half of it's raw burst healing power but we gained Mitigation on Relentless Focus.

Now with the mitigation gone, NB tank will be worse than it was before Elsweyr buffs.

Please consider giving some thing back to NB tanks. The main draw of NB tanks was its sheer mitigation compared to other tanks. Over time, it lost everything had over other tanks like Ult-gain via Tava's Favor, self-healing, etc. Even sap-tanking is now a Necro-tank thing rather than NBs. Even in terms of sustain, NB tanks lack the capability to perma-block like DKs/Wardens or get burst sustain like Sorc tanks.

In my opinion NB PvE tanks are still fine. Dark Cloak is still a solid self-heal class-wise and Grim Focus' mitigation wasn't always used by a lot of Nightblade tanks. At a certain point, I found no room for it on my bars for either 4 man or 12 man content but I suppose that depends on how far you set your bars up for group support rather than for yourself. I like that it's gone back towards a more "Assassin" skill. Also depending on how you spec your NB tank, you still have a great amount of ult-gain and sustain via potions/potion cooldown enchants/passives/playstyle.

In terms of mitigation, you still have class access to Minor Protection, self-healing through Cloak / Sap and an innate 25% damage mitigation against direct damage/damage over time Area of Effects that the other classes would have to work around for (no other class has class access to Major Evasion).

Also I would say that NB tanks only got popular with most people because of two reasons:

1) For stamina raid compositions, you wanted a NB tank to provide Minor Savagery as the DPS roster consisted of mostly Stamina Necromancers post-Elsweyr and not Stamblades.

2) It just so happens that a lot of the damage you can mitigate with Blur/Major Evasion is present in the Elsweyr Trial Sunspire.

Not really because they got a mitigation buff through Grim Focus. I wouldn't say that they got worse or were worse pre-Elsweyr/post-Elsweyr.

The most heart broken nerfing to my NB, ZOS removed the passive dodge mechanics from NB.

I think most of the new staffs in dev didnt know what we talking about and complain about.

We play this game since day 1.
