    Agreed.

    For me it's Dunmer - Breton - Altmer - Imperial - Bosmer - Redguard
Based purely on the beauty of the characters I've managed to make with these races

    Edit:
I seem to be the only one to not find bosmer that attractive. They look like some kind of barbie except maybe a child version because of the childlike facial features and dead eyes. Altmer have the same dead behind the eyes look

I really think out of the fem models, female dunmer have the nicest eyes, they actually look alive behind them

I find dark elves the most attractive as well, but I don't think it's an unpopular opinion at all, just look at the 'Show me your dunmer' thread, countless posts with beautiful characters :) I also think Orcs make great female characters, which is probably unpopular, but I think my Orc toons are really pretty

Dumner looks quite ok. I prefer HE or Breton though, aesthetically.
I also like how Dumner are depicted in the game and their voice acting is often great. I prefer the red eyes.

Bosmer looks sweet but they have a bit roundish childish heads.
    Redguard ok but nothng special.
Imprial .. can't make them look nice, they always look the same. :-\
Orc teeth .. meh. Can't get used to them.

For the rest not fa fan of human bodies with animal heads.

Am I really the only person who makes chars look... well, normal for their race? Or even ugly? (I've got an extremely ugly Breton necromancer).

For me, personally, it'd be weird if everyone looked like a super model on a world affected by war, plagues and other catastrophies and in which most people don't even have a bathroom.

To each their own, of course.

Well it is a fantasy game, so most people aren't that concerned with realism.
But there's tons of fat, stage 4 vampire orcs in wedding dresses, so you're definitely not the only one who likes creating less attractive characters. :)

I was talking about "normal ugly" or average looking chars, not those who are made to look excessively ridiculous. There's a difference between a necromancer with a few scars, dirty clothes and unkempt hair (which is plausible if he lives in the wilderness mostly) and a fat orc with wedding dress and false lashes.

It's a bit of a weird experiment I run. I walk through towns. Not run. My males? Nope, no contacts at all. Feiri? Lots of players suddenly follow, friend requests, rarely trade requests. Decline them all mind but I find it interesting, especially as it's the same players seeing my same Username.

I always try make characters look like their race. No trying make mer look like a modern human. Many are considered good looking though (At least to me), but not all. My latest alt is a chubby, older and balding breton man.

I like making varying characters with different background and personalities. Which of course means they need different appearances.

I have to disagree with Dunmer being the most attractive. They have the same dead eyes as Altmer and Bosmer, and their grey skin just looks ill in my opinion unless it is one of the darker or bluer shades that no one ever seems to use.

Personally I think Breton and Imperial females look the best, but I also don't think Orcs or Redguards look bad if you do a good job on the face sliders. Poor Nord women just seem to always have weak chins and crossed eyes unless they are massive slabs of muscle with a "heroic" face.

If the Mer just didn't have the creepy eyes they would likely be the prettiest in my opinion, but they all do and I just can't get over it.

Nord males are with out a doubt the best looking men though.

Interesting. It's not that masses of people had contacted me, but I had that happening with my male chars. Quite often with my two Bosmers, although I don't even play them regularly. A few times with Dunmer and Altmer males. And all of them look quite normal. But I guess it might be a plus that they all have regular names for their races? Might attract people who are into the lore.

I've got 2 female chars, a Khajiit (no reactions until today) and a Dunmer vampire. But I just started with the Dunmer lady and played a bit with her just after Greymoor was launched. People probably had other things than chatting on their mind then.
I always try make characters look like their race. No trying make mer look like a modern human.

Yes! I actually think that Dunmer (and other mer) are beautiful in their own way.

I completely agree. I have a background story for everyone, and of course it shows in the way they look.

Well, it's a curse and it's supposed to look ashen, so what do you expect? Also, I think some of their eye colors look quite lively. It even catches my attention often when I look at my main.

If you can make the dunmer lady not look like she wants to kill you then you can make them look quite pretty. I think all the races look pretty good with the exception of Argonians and Khajiit. Not a big fan of the beast races despite my first ever TES character being an old red Argonian in Oblivion.

I think all the races including argonians and khajiit can look really good, although sometimes female nord faces have something off about them. I think their lips can look a bit off sometimes for some reason, like the top lip sucks in instead of flares out, making the face look a little strange.

I've noticed Nord females have some weird textures depending on where in the triangle you select. Certain areas make their lips look like they're wearing lip liner while other spots have a more natural/bare look. It's very frustrating to me when I want to use that section of triangle because I hate the lip liner look.

Imperials are generally my favorite race and I have a number of them. I have decent number of Bretons but I find them harder to make unique and I loathe the super soft-round-face-with-giant-lips that most people tend to use for Breton females.

    I like Dunmer females.

My most favourite NPC is Provost Varuni Arvel, especially combined with the excellent voice acting:
    KHq8Fcw.png

The character praying to Lord Seth beside her is my Danna Indoril:
    eMcJpgm.png

And this is her favourite cousin, Miara Indoril:

    Aj1DQov.png

This is another Dunmer female of mine, Nevana Velayn:
    9lhM9nG.png

Nevertheless, I like the females of other races too.

For instance, Imperials of all skin tones, like my Cutisia Larimara:
    gAMuLb6.png

    Or my Lucilla Vigilita:
    LLVvC3q.png

I also like my Khajiit, naturally <3 :

    Ash Ra'shan, a Cathay:
    6KykjBG.png

    Sutahkrassiit, a Dagi-raht:
    JHxHSQM.png

    Jelwi-ma, an Ohmes Baandari dancer:
    fCwQ1jK.png

This was my first try at "ohmesizing" a Bosmer female:
    eolUBc9.png

As for Altmer, this is my Psijic field researcher, Elnaurwen of Lillandril:
    MTxEw0m.png

And as a bonus, this is how I imagine the Altmer females. Stunningly beatiful, yet somehow disturbingly cold, inhuman, almost alien in their appeareance. It is a pity Stamina builds are not really good for ESO Altmer, therefore, Tamwelin had to become a Magicka Templar in ESO:

I am having real trouble getting my female dunmber nightblade to look less like she has seen the worst and most traumatizing things in Tamriel and more like a budding, green soldier/stealth...

I just can't get her face to have softer features. It's the eyebrows... they drive me nuts.
