After 3.5 years on PS4...

I'm finally switching to PC. Other than the expected anxiety of leaving all of my stuff and accomplishments behind, I have some friends on the EU server wanting me to join them. I'm in NA so I'm wondering if I should risk higher ping and join them or stick with NA and hook up with those friends instead.

I've seen the mega thread regarding the EU server but I've also talked to people who haven't had huge problems outside of those times when the server is down completely. What say you?

For what it is worth I did PS4 NA/EU and PC NA/EU. Crazy I know.
Ping to PS4 EU from Florida is not too bad, EU PC seems to be more problematic during their prime time.

Disclaimer: ping to anywhere on ESO PC servers is high for me as my only connection is satellite. That said, however, I don't have any issues playing on either PC NA or EU. Then again, another disclaimer: I don't do group content or pvp. So.... YMMV!

I'd at least give the PC EU server a shot. If it doesn't work out, at least you got to spend some time with your friends. If you need to switch to the NA server, make new friends

A couple of my friends play both and don't seem to have too much a problem with either. They are not doing PvP or vet trial content so that might make a difference.
EU does seem to be having more problems overall if the forums are any indication.

One thing you need to consider is what times will you be online and does that fit into your friends schedules. That might make the decision for you more than ping?
