Trying to uncover all POIs

I'm going through and trying to get all the POIs for each map. Right now I'm in Wrothgar and I can't get Maelstrom Arena to check off. I've got everything else in the zone. I go up to it, I even entered and did the first round and it still won't clear off.
Do you have to beat it before it "discovers" for you?

✭✭Hmmm ok thanks. Didn't think it acted like the dungeons and delves.
It's marked like a trial and the other trials you can walk up to them and it marks it that you discovered the location.0
