A suggestion on Scrying

Something that seems to have been left out, during the creation of the Antiquities addition: Being able to see what we have leads for already, while still in our homes.

It's a pretty big waste of time not knowing, so that we can plan out our route/day.

Instead of saying, "This list is empty", when checking "Scryable" from home, it should at least show those areas we already have leads for, don't you think? Then we could begin our day, without having to warp to every area, to check if we have a lead or not.

Just a suggestion.

(*Note: I only quick scanned a couple pages of posts but didn't see this mentioned, so I apologize if this has already been discussed, & would appreciate if someone directed me towards it, if it does- Thanks.)

This has been mentioned before, but it's been lost in the wash.

You can see the leads you have per zone from anywhere, but the way it's presented is illogical and clunky and often incorrect, especially wrt mythics. From your post, I assume your suggestion is for 'live' leads to appear under scryable regardless of which zone you are in with maybe a sub menu of zones with just the scryables listed? That, in my opinion, is how the menu should work already.

I wouldn't put it under scryable per se, but have a section called "Have Lead" that shows you what non-default leads you have and what zone they can be dug up in.

Sort of like the Display Leads addon does. ZOS really needs to look at the functionality of that addon and incorporate some of it into the default UI.

I would just like to scry from home.... I have a wondrous library, and it would be fun/efficient to just scry from home everything I currently have available, then go on an adventure to excavate it all.

    Please give me this! lol

I think what OP is saying is to be able to see what scryable leads they have and plan their day out to zone hop, scry and excavate rather than dig through several menus to find what's there (and be misinformed regards mythics) or just port through the zone's alphabetically checking what's available. I don't think makes sense to be able to scry leads in one zone from another--although scrying itself is a form of remote viewing or foretelling, hmmm...

Exactly... please just let us scry from home lol.

And I know what the OP is saying. I too hate how clunky the scrying menu is. I get it though.... It does need to clearly indicate what zone each item can be found.

Yup. That would let us know where we have open leads, ready to be chased down. I would think this a small fix, but who knows anymore.

Myself, I have several different toons doing Antiquities. Some are just getting going, some are on blue, some purple, & so on- so having available leads in the empty scrying window at home, would help us plan out our day, for me meaning which toon needs to go where, etc.

I don't think we need "Scrying from home", that would be too lazy. But just knowing the location of the nation, our live leads are located, would help greatly, by saving a lot of time/travel.

I have the Display Leads addon and it baffles me as to why this is not part of the stock UI.

Totally agree with this. I hate having to travel to each zone just to verify that I haven't overlooked anything I need to do.
