That seems a bit harsh and disingenuous. They seem to follow a pattern with chapters, alternating between classes and new non-class skill lines. So Morrowind had the warden class, Summerset had jewelrycrafting and Psijic, Elsweyr had the necromancer class, and this one had antiquities. So maybe next chapter, if the pattern holds?

it was a joke. What I said aftewards was pretty much what you said. Maybe next year they will have one unless they can't think of something worth bringing out.

Infinite possibility is best for gamer. So 6 classes is way more short.

Because a new class doesn't add anything for existing players at the character limit and/or not alt compatible.
on top of that it adds on even more challenge to the balance nightmare for the devs
AND a pile of work to create animations and effects..not to mention the idea for the powers/class to begin with and the bug testing
so you can imagine trying to all that from home due to the plague and best case scenario it ends up upsetting a chunk of the player base...nah, instead easier, safer and "longer lasting" to add in a system that adds content to every zone..even the older ones.

Thats not nightmare, at least it is paid job. Then it must be sweet dream. If they don't, then just quit.
