Can someone explain how the stacks in an armor sets like Relequen work? How viable is this set now that they nerfed it down to 10 stacks from 20?

You place a stack per light attack on the target. This nerf isn't really a nerf since fights didn't usually let you obtain the full 20 stacks anyhow. The set will remain exactly where it has been likely.

You do damage with a light attack for a stack.

It last x amount of seconds. But, doing another light attack in that time frame not only refreshes it, but adds another bit of damage.

This continues until max stacks. You have to then keep applying light attacks in the given timeframe to keep refreshing all stacks. Once you fail, it starts again.

Other sets have additional conditions, like heavy attacking removes stacks or at max stacks the stats given is doubled but for x seconds and then you start again.

It went from 4k to 3k tooltip damage at max, and in most bossfights you would reach that. (used to be 20s to reach it, now it's 5s). So it's a definite nerf.
