[Snip] We had this happen during MYM too, and they handled it perfectly by adding a day to the event..

Or maybe, maaaaaaaybe, they finally should do something with it? Why it's always EU losing a day of event and ESO+? Last maintenance also had problems, maintenance before, and before.. They should start FIXING these problems, not ignore them.

Ermm ... it didn't 'just' happen during MYM, it's happened before then, and before, and before, and before.... and there have been times where we ended up not having an event at all and no news/information or anything....
They've had YEARS by now to practice 'what has to be done' in cases like these, plenty of possible times to find solutions.
Besides the event tickets, many will now also have an issue with the daily login rewards, one of those other things the 'team' is playing deaf for - time after time after time...
It would be a common courtesy for them to finally address these types of things, or make other adjustments. As you might be able to read in several other posts going on right now, people are kind of not so happy with this umpteenth time things are going ... well, let's say it nicely 'not according to plan without a plan B, apparently'...

We lost nothing of our last event.. And I am sorry, but I do not buy into the conspiracy theory about them doing nothing

Observations and experience indicates otherwise. Or if they're doing anything they're exceptionally inept at it and I've been playing MMOs since the late 90s [Snip]

Day of login? Day of ESO+? Event is not everything, you know?
I looked thru my posts, I started "complaining" about EU servers in "October 2019", we were promised a better servers and better technical side, and we have July 2020 now.. Guess what? Nothing changed. I love this game, but company is another level [Snip]

Fair enough, but since his thread was about tickets, that's what I was commenting on
Alright, but the ability to gain those tickets would still depend on being able to play on the extra day rather than on the day the server was down.

Fast approaching this point too tbh.

Could you just wait and let them do what they have to do before you start crying? We had this happen during MYM too, and they handled it perfectly by adding a day to the event..

Managed to do an delve and get 3 tickets just before the server shut down, was able to get in this morning just before reset and did some extra quests to have spare quests for later.
redgreensunset wrote: »So tried to log on this morning 30 minutes before reset to see if I could quickly claim the daily reward and get tickets but between 10-15 minutes on requesting character selection and then 10+ minutes on inital loading screen having to kill the game via taskmaster because I was out of time the problems persist in spite of low population and the queue having been removed.

Ah yes, "Conspiracy theory", lol.
They have had more than enough time.

Anyway, I remembered what I had done in similar situations. So I got up a little earlier today, logged in about 1 hour before ticket reset / work shift start, did a daily and received my tickets. Provided I can log in later on and do today's daily, I didn't lose any tickets.
