Thinking About Coming Back

I played the game at release but left after the first month and I'm wondering if two of the main issues would still be a problem for me.

First, I prefer playing in first-person view. This left me at a significant disadvantage in terms of situational awareness when teaming.
Second, my husband and I like to play as a duo. There were no mechanics in place at the time (like Sidekicks in City of Heroes for instance) to accommodate players of different levels or different progress with particular quests.

Is the current situation the same with regard to these two issues?

everything is scaled so level differences dont matter...

first person is fine while questing but you will lack awareness in dungeons / trials etc.

Not really much they can do about situational awareness in this case, I don't think. One is a free spinning camera that is up and away from your character and the other is a fixed position that is much lower to the ground :)

I played purely first person at launch as well. You'll be fine in all basic content but harder dungeon bosses or end game stuff will be nearly impossible.

I can only say that almost all dungeons are duo-able at least on normal, overland even more so. Almost - because there are two dungeons I haven't duo yet
