Same here. I have been sitting on the "Requesting character load" screen now for several minutes. Seems like there is still a problem with the PC EU servers.

I am in the first char choice screen: 13 min and still waiting.........
Just spent several minutes at the character load screen then booted back to the loggin screen, tried again.. 7 minutes at the character load screen then booted back to the loggin screen.. what a surprise.
Not the char load screen, but the screen you get when using a wayshrine ingame.
That shouldn't matter about people trying to log in as everyone uses wayshrines ingame all the time anyway?

11 hour maintenance with no fixes and you cannot login now. it cannot take that long to just pull the plug so we cannot login. maybe they are saving electricity to send to a charity , well maybe the game can be a charity and it might work

This is actually a good point you're making. They take the servers offline for 11 hours, surely they must be fixing certain things. Yet after these weekly maintenance rounds, nothing changes. Taking it offline for 11 hours during an event essentially means taking it offline for a full day as people can't login and eventually have to sleep. So they miss out on event bonuses even though they've been trying for several hours to get in.
A login queue is fine, but if the approximate wait time is 30 seconds, either make it around 30 seconds to maybe 2 minutes. But better leave the approximation out completely if it's going to take 5+ minutes. Just a suggestion.
