Runescape Castle Wars in ESO?

Are anyone familiar with how Castle Wars in Runescape works? Do you think its a good or bad idea of letting 'Guild vs Guild' (up to 12/24 players on each team) play in large closed "arenas"?

The location could be a variety of fixed locations like in BG, or the possibility to turn a player-owned Estate into a customizable battleground.

The estate could be toggled to "arena" mode, where the everyone with correct rights could customize the arena. To be more extreme, each team could even re-arrange the furniture on their half of the location. Either well before the battle, or when the battle starts; each team has a given amount of minutes (3?) do deploy the same units of furniture as the other team has before an invicible fence ish disappears from the middle. Needs a lot of planning, or just quick reaction time for best strategic fortification. No siege equipment, probably ;)

It does not matter what i think about that idea, coz it will never happen in ESO. Atleast not in the near future.

There will probably always be people who want to do it, but the issues is that the lag will not permit it with that many people. And not enough players are into PVP to incentivise ZOS to work on it.

Nothing stopping guilds from organising themselves in Cyro or IC though, you can definitely find times when the zones are nearly empty.

I would have liked to see some "alternate" Cyrodil maps, to reduce the chug when it's at peak populations. Spread the players out over 3 maps, maybe have one based in Coldharbour, one based in... I dunno, dragon country. Reduce the scale slightly so it's not as much of a zerg-fest.

Unlikely (i.e statistically close to certain 0 possibility) to happen I guess but it'd be nice. I'm just bored of fighting over the exact same rocks and trees in cyro. pvp in player owned locations would be amazing, by the way. I could see some real creative use of furniture to make a "map".
